Since you would be travelling with me, I thought I should introduce myself now.
No, I’m not a traveller, and just because I’ve travelled twice or thrice in the last few months, I won’t give myself that tag just to sound pretentious. But yes, someday, I wish to have a life where I’m on the road working and travelling and having a good life.
I was born in a very conservative family that saw travelling as something not very useful. So if you read the previous posts, and said to yourself that your parents would never allow you, I can understand how you feel. I’ve been there.
I was never allowed for any school trips, even in college I wasn’t until my last year. We went to Manali; and that was the first time I realized what dreams are made of. I was happy not because of the place I was at, but because of the people I was with, and the memories we made. Yes, that's my story. There are times in life when you wish that time stops. This was one of those moments.
I graduated from Hindu College, DU in Statistics Hons. and have completed my masters too in the same course. But what resides in my heart and mind are not numbers but paints, pen and my backpack.
While I was pursuing my graduation, my interest diverted from art. I was more into academics, internships, college politics, and the college life, that art completely drained art out of me!
Last year in October, I picked my pens up once again after 4 years for participating in an online series, Inktober (you get a word prompt everyday, and you have to make something based on it). And today, there is not a single day that I don’t sketch.
As I began, some of my college friends were surprised. They never knew I was into art. And later on so many people started appreciating my work. I get orders everyday now for hand-bound diaries. I'll show you a few of them on the trip.
I have an art account on Instagram by the name @how_art_you. It’s just growing on me like some tree with roots digging deeper and deeper within me. It’s a therapy for me. An escape. A way of survival.

Hey guys! My name is @nikon_photography and I'm a travel photographer based out of the U.K. Over the next few days I'll be sharing some of my favorite shots from a recent trip to the Faroes with @ryan_field_. This was my second trip here so I had a decent idea of what I wanted to shoot and how to maximize our weeklong filming trip in the islands. When we arrived to heavy rain, I knew that I wanted to see this waterfall at full flow as it was quite low last time I visited. As we got out of the car, we could hear the roar and feel the mist all the way down to the road. Just what I was hoping to see. The Faroes never disappoint. #faroeislands#visitfaroeislands
