A city for which I have much affection, a city in which I enjoy being, a city which I enjoy studying, and a city on my mind each day thanks to CBC radio.
I snapped this photo of the 3D Toronto sign in front of the Toronto City Hall with some reflections both in the reflecting pool and on the glass facade of the skate building.
Today’s events are more evidence that none of us, and no place, is immune to the illness of violence that infects our world in our time. It is simply a matter of time before we are all personally connected to these senseless acts. I am impacted by them, and you might be too. My fatalism in this arena perhaps keeps me from worrying about myself, but it is hard not to be upset by each of these acts around the world each day. I have no idea what the solution is, but making a concerted effort to find happiness in our experiences throughout the day seems a simple enough first step. Just last night I randomly saw a river otter enjoying herself in a stream next to the gym where I work out. I’ll take any reason to smile. #toronto#torontolife#nathanphillipssquare#torontocityhall#ontario#canada@cbctoronto@cbcradiocanada#reflection#skate#fuckterrorism#fuckviolence#fuckhatred#findhappiness#riverotter#smile#fitness#fitfam#fit#photography#nightphotography#seeklove#givelove#love
