I just finished my California #Naturalist certification class, and I’m a little overwhelmed.
This class was exactly what I needed in my life. It gave me more than a general education around ecology/biology/geology, it gave me a new mindset on the trail, and a whole new focus for my career. I cannot wait to put it to use. You can catch me leading nerdy/fun trail hikes out there real soon.
And you can also catch me taking even more classes and doing field work (in Mojave, Mammoth, Utah, Rockies, San Gabes, Yosemite) for all of 2019, because “journeyman” isn’t a travel meme, it’s genuine curiosity to get to know the world around me.
What's photography to you? How do you define it? What do you want to portray through your photos or what do you look for in other people's photos? Are pictures about creating something that's beautiful or something that has the most resemblance to reality? Comment with your views about photography.

Our first time in London and we are humbled to be partnered with the amazingly beautiful @HyattChurchill.
One of our first stops was the award-winning Churchill Bar and Terrace. Inspired by Sir Winston Churchill and his wife Clementine, The Churchill Bar & Terrace offers award-winning cocktails and delicious dining in a glamorous Marylebone setting; tucked away behind Oxford Street.
Winston Churchill's extended family gave the Hyatt Regency their blessing to name the bar after their eminent ancestor and from that day, with the Churchill family's help, they are proud to have created a glamorous destination bar that a young Churchill and his beloved wife Clementine would have enjoyed visiting.
The design recognises, by way of contemporary touches, references to Churchill’s life in photography and art, in love and lifestyle and in travel and animals. Black & White photographs, original love letters and soft toy animals adorn the shelves.
Their elegant library, curated by local specialist booksellers Daunt Books, includes a range of literature on modern subjects that a young Churchill and Clementine would have found fascinating – art, travel, politics, gardening, fashion and so forth. They encourage all guests to leaf through the books as you wish, and they hope you find them as fascinating as they do.
The bar is a consistent award winner from their signature cocktails to their amazing service.
Make sure to stop at this amazing spot the next time you're in London. #LandE
