As I boarded a train yesterday I realised I had left my phone at home. 😱
It was probably the best thing that could’ve happened to me. It’s a habit we get into, when there’s nothing to do we turn to our phone. 📲
If you’re in the habit like me, you would probably be replying to your messages 💌and mindlessly scrolling social media as opposed to being fully present to what’s in front of you. 🥰 💗 I saw that I was the only female passenger on the train for the first 5 stops. 📱 I saw people boarding the train as they were head down looking at their phone. 👷♂️ I saw shift workers going to work, coming home from work and some just heading home after a big night. 🍷 ☕️ I saw many cafes, switching lights on, opening their doors and preparing themselves for the day ahead 🏃♂️ I saw people at the gym doing their morning workout on the treadmill and I was secretly high five ing 👋 them on looking after themselves. 🌚☀️ I saw the sky change from night to day as the sun was rising 🎈 I saw 2 hot air balloons gracefully travelling through the sky but yet looking so still 🐦 I saw pigeons flock to food on the ground
All these amazing sights that I would’ve missed out on if I had my phone in my hand.
So after reading the below meme I say who is the one that’s really missing out here? When you stop and look around life is pretty amazing you just need to be present for it. 💝💛🌈

The Moon Salutation, known in Sanskrit as “Chandra Namaskara”, is a series of poses performed in a particular sequence to create a cooling flow of movement. I have posted quite a few king pigeon variations lately hence decided to compile all the variations that I had tried this year. There were 5 of them never made it to IG because I took SIX in one evening when I only needed ONE king pigeon photo for a yoga challenge 😂 Think I was an overzealous participant 🙈😆 Some of these were inspired by IG, while some were taught by my yoga masters. Tag me when you try any of these variations as I would love to see them 😊
