🎢 Its soon Thanksgiving & a time for reflection. 🍁 This year has been a tough one for so many. I am thankful for all the ups & downs I too have gone through. It’s days like in my travels that I take time to thank the universe for all I have & hope for better in the future, not only me, but everyone around. ✨

All of the photos I have taken are inspired by something I liked myself. Some places have made my jaw drop in awe or pushed my eyes open as far as they could stretch in amazement. It is in those moments I take a photo. Sometimes, for some unknown reason, the camera doesn't capture or translate what my eyes saw or my body felt. You may not notice it right away but later, when I'm viewing the image on the computer and it comes out a dud. Those times are disappointments. You've already left the site and all you have is what you shot. I'm not a professional photographer. I don't go to specific places and 'set-up for a shoot' all day or night. I'm a traveler and sometimes I only have 5, 10, 20 minutes to find some great shots on my phone and hope when I look at them later some came out as 'memory quality'. This image is one of those moments 😊.
This area is on the Oregon Coast. The whole area has these alcoves, spires, and natural bridges. The exact spot I shot this from was so sketchy I won't even tell you about it. It was dangerous and scary as F*** 💀 . Looking back, I was not being rational when I scaled to this spot. I had no ropes, no safety gear, no spotter to help me and, my shoes sucked. It was a recipe for disaster 😵. Fortunately everything obviously turned out ok and the shot came out amazing. Looking at the image, it even makes it better knowing what I went through to get it 🏆.
after a 30 minute walk under the blazing hot sun, a refreshing dip in these stunning blue pools was exactly what we needed. we ended up spending all day here, tanning by the shore and watching people jump off the bridge.

missing the carefree days we spent sailing and swimming under the hot Greek sun
best part of this trip was all the new friends I made. I went to Santorini alone, but by the end of the trip, I had two new friends 💙
meeting new people is my favorite part of traveling, especially since I usually travel solo. any other solo travelers out there? 👀
