Day 140 - #OnlyThingTravel
To the clan jetties we go! This waterfront society is home to six remaining Chinese clans on the island of Penang. After a hundred years, they are still one of the most picturesque spots in Georgetown.
As if from Heaven itself, great curtains of delicate light hung and trembled. Pale green and rose-pink, and as transparent as the most fragile fabric, and at the bottom edge a profound fiery crimson like the fires of Hell, they swung and shimmered loosely with more grace than the most skilful dancer. - “Northern Lights”, Philip Pullman
there’s something strangely familiar about stepping into the unknown. perhaps timid at first, maybe reluctant. but then we leap and remember we were always meant to fly.

So amongst photographing the Adult Lynx its nice to see the two Kits doing really well. About 5 months old now, here is one of them tucked away in the undergrowth, shot just after it was cleaning itself hence the little tongue poking out. A tricky shot due to all the foliage, I always strive to try and get as clean of an image as possible. So it took a lot of shifting around to make sure I had no obstructions. #earthcapture
