Self-Love is the new #relationshipgoals
I fell in love with everything about me and suddenly the acceptance of others became insignificant. 🦋
Yeh.... so cliché, but The reality is I am the only person who I have to spend the rest of my life with and I’m lucky enough to say I have built a relationship with myself based on understanding, compassion and respect.... for me the power to build such a strong relationship with myself that anyone entering your world knows the standards you’ve set is one of the most important things I’ve ever learnt 🌹
Remember boys and girls, you’re a catch and it’s time to believe it 🐥
Today look at yourself and all your goals in the same way you do of those you love. 👸 No one has to love you, that’s your job 🤫🌹🎀 #selflove#mondaymotivaton#bethebestyou

Just remember john Lennon. Life's what happens when you're busy making other plans.
“Where there is a will, there is a way. If there is a chance in a million that you can do something, anything, to keep what you want from ending, do it. Pry the door open or, if need be, wedge your foot in that door and keep it open.” —Pauline Kael #quotes#motivation

Whilst I would love to claim that I could prep myself from start to finish, unsupported and guided by my own intuition, the reality is I couldn't possibly reach the stage without the guidance and support of my coach @paolobaja .
A coach plays a crucial role in providing a clear sense of direction and an objective perspective during the roller coaster ride of emotions that comes with a competition prep. A coach offers a voice of reason when you get stuck in your own head and whilst on the surface level it appears as though they are only focused on the training and nutrition protocol that gets an athlete into stage-ready condition I can assure you that the right coach offers you so much more! The program prescription and nutrition adjustments are critically important but the ability to effectively manage the athlete from a psychological perspective is crucial. It's a fine art that only really comes with experience. Fortunately I have a highly experienced coach in my corner providing me with an objective perspective and a level head during a testing period of time. The final 2 weeks is fraught with danger and without the assistance of a coach during your comp prep during these final stages you may find yourself capitulating before you even make it to the stage!

Today's shoulders, back and chest workout. No, I don't look anything like what I did during comp but I'm feeling so strong and my muscles are growing day by day, week by week. I hit two PBs today. Seated overhead press - 2 sets of 24kgs. Set one, 11 reps (yes @triv_the_physique_engineer it was 11.. lucky we have it on video 😉), set two 6 reps. My second PB was incline bench press at 60kgs for 8 reps. That's more than my bodyweight! Albeit I have some work to do when it comes to technique it was a good little test.
Legs tomorrow.. better get to bed for some 😴😴😴 #gettingstronger#strong#muscles#musclenation#lovetolift#lovetotrain#stronggirls#girlswholift

KEEP MOVING FORWARD 👊🏼
No one gets anywhere standing still. Inaction is a choice in itself, and when you’re up against it, sometimes you just need to find another gear to break through that mental barrier 💪🏼
Head down, GRIND IT OUT, and keep pushing yourself to new limits

SPREAD KINDESS ❤💫
If a girl wants to look good, show a little skin, wear short shorts, work out in a crop top etc. Have you ever thought maybe she's doing it because she feels good in her own skin? Have you ever thought of how hard she's worked to finally feel confident enough to wear those short shorts or crop top in public? Have you ever thought she's doing it for her not for you? There are so many unnecessary mean comments girls get slammed with these days. Why try and make someone feel bad or guilty about something that doesn't even concern or affect you in any way at all? Isn't it better to be positive and lift each other up than to be negative and throw that negativity onto someone else and make them feel crappy for no good reason? I don't know about you but I choose to spread as much positivity and kindness as I can 😊❤
