when i began this account i made it in mind of trying to keep myself accountable, and only let about 50 total strangers who were into fitness follow me. i was ashamed. ashamed that i had to start putting in so much effort to get what i wanted, ashamed i wasn’t born with the perfect waistline i dreamed of, and ashamed to admit that i needed support.
making my account public was a big step for me. i lost friends who thought my goals were stupid, but i also realized who’s really there for me. people have told me i’ve changed, and hell yeah i have, for the better. i let go of the things holding me back and made room for the ones who want to grow with me. i have an amazing coach @nickkomodina, a beautiful mentor @fearstofit, and a tribe of friends (( @ftfcommunity )) behind me who constantly inspire me to crush my “stupid unrealistic” goals. i am ready for whatever my future throws at me #unguardedandunbothered
When I started using essential oils I didn’t know a lot about topical application and stuck with diffusing because I was unsure of how to use the oils topically. I realized later that I was missing out on huge opportunities for therapeutic benefits! I have developed a new love for lavender essential oil at night when I am not sleeping well, just a drop on my neck and shoulders and I am out like a light! Topical application 🤲 is very effective because
essential oils have low molecular weights and are lipid soluble, they easily penetrate
the skin. Once absorbed, they stay in the applied area for a localized benefit.
Here are some tips ✍️ for application:
👉Use a light massage to increase the blood flow to the area of
application = distributes the oil through the body better!
👉Use a carrier oil to increase absorption, especially in skin that is dry or flaky as it helps
moisturize the skin and slow evaporation of the oil.
And decreases skin sensitivity (Especially with hot oils - clove, cinnamon) 👉Dilution ratio is typically one drop of essential oil to three drops of carrier oil. 👉Use several small doses throughout the day rather than a
single large dose. Start with the lowest possible dose (1–2 drops). A topical dose can
be repeated every 4–6 hours as needed. 👉Beneficial Areas for Essential Oils:
-Forehead and temples
-Chest and abdomen
-Arms, legs, bottom of feet 👉Sensitive Areas to be Avoided:
-Some facial areas, such as the skin around the eyes
-Eyes and inner ears

vetiver gets a lot of lovin’ in this house. it’s sweet and earthy. warm and woodsy. it’s all things comforting and grounding. ✨
i wear this in my perfume blend and it’s in all of our sleepy rollers. vetiver calms the mind, allows inner peace and clarity, and promotes relaxation and harmony. when my energy is running high, or when i’m having trouble feeling calm or clear headed, a drop of vetiver rubbed into the base of my neck does the trick. 💛

2 tsp @epicmatcha ⠀
1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk⠀

One of these biggest drawbacks of going Keto? NO TACOS 🌮 😞 So we went in search of a way to bring back the taco goodness into our life. And we’ve found it! These low carb keto approved taco’s with shells made from cheddar cheese are the answer.

Cheese Taco Shells
-2 cups Cheddar cheese , shredded
-1 pound Ground beef
-1 tablespoon Chili Powder
-2 teaspoons Cumin
-1 teaspoon Onion Powder
-1/2 teaspoon Garlic Powder
-1/4 teaspoon Salt
-1/4 cup Water
-Toppings for taco: Sour cream, avocado, cheese, lettuce, etc.
1. Preheat oven to 350F.
2. On a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a silicone mat place 1/4 cup piles of cheese 2 inches apart. Press the cheese down lightly so it makes one layer.
3. Place baking sheet in the oven and bake for 5-7 minutes or until the edges of the cheese are brown.
4. Let the cheese cool for 2-3 minutes then lift it up and place it over the handle of a spoon or other utensil that is balanced on two cups.
5. Let cheese cool completely then remove.
6. While you continue to bake your cheese taco shells place the ground beef in a skillet over medium high heat cooking until it is completely cooked through.
7. Drain the grease from the meat and then add the cumin, chili powder, onion, powder, garlic powder, and salt. Pour water into skillet and stir everything around mixing it together.
8. Simmer for 5 minutes or until liquid has cooked away.
9. Add meat to taco shells and top with your favorite taco toppings.
