FINALLY woke up without a fever today🙌🏼!! I think I needed that 11 hour night of sleep. Woke up REALLY HUNGRY.
Posted something similar I had for dessert for a few days ago. This time for breakfast.
Used strawberry almond milk yogurt this time, topped with 1 1/2 bananas (because I have way too many bananas) and a sprinkle of PB2. This may be my new favorite thing EVER. A serving of this has about 16-18g of protein which is an added bonus.
Bought the same mix again so I can make muffins this time. The first batch I added 2 bananas and 1/4 cup of steel cut oats, might add three bananas this time and some peanut butter chips.
Crashed out super early last night so I got up chilled and decided to make some breakfast I made bacon, breakfast sausage, scrambled eggs and chocolate chip waffles I made errthing but the waffle but don't let me get a hold of a waffle maker cause boooooy it would go dooown 🤣💪💯 #Mmmm#Breakfast#IReallyDoWishMyWafflesWereFromScratch#ButThatBaconThooooo . . . Now to smoke and see if Kansas City Chiefs will make it to the Superbowl and win 👀
Had a fun Saturday night last night so buttered bread with fried egg, 🥑, & lox sounded like the perfect post night out breakfast! I used ezekiel toast for the bread and @miyokos vegan butter for the butter, then @vitalfarms eggs.🍳
So I know I said I was going to do a “sober january” until the 24th (I’m leaving for Tulum this Thursday!💃🏽) but after 10 days of not drinking I felt great and decided to switch it up to drinking 1 night of the week. The overall point of doing it in the first place was to give my body & liver a break, but beyond that, I enjoy drinking and a night out with friends and didn’t feel that giving it up for 24 days was serving me any better than drinking again. Life is short to not do the things you love especially if you’re doing it in moderation and it’s giving you “life”. I’m not saying go down multiple bottles of wine, or that I couldn’t go out and not drink, but life is meant for living and I’ve had too many years of restriction in the past to let that take over again. I also felt like feeling less bloated and fluffy was another reason behind cutting alcohol out, and felt like I wasn’t practicing what I preached on this account in terms of those “last 5-10 pounds” representing spontaneity, freedom, and love.🍸
For all those still doing a sober january, you do you! Happy Sunday!
