When was the last time you took a second to pause and check in with yourself? Even if your mental health is fine there are so many areas that are equally as important and deserving of attention. This wonderful ecosystem we call a body is a cog. It is so sensitively interconnected with the mind and that needs to be respected.
I have had to slow down the pace even with three exhibitions coming up. While my excited and willing mind wants to keep pushing, my body's voice has been gradually asking louder and louder to take it easy.
Having experienced many months of constant, extreme fatigue and brain fog due to longterm gut issues and overworking myself I have learned the necessity of taking time to stop and rest.
Whilst feeling so incredibly happy and grateful to have these opportunities to grow and pursue my dream I am also looking forward to taking a break. I cannot wait to return to this little sanctuary you see me in here. When I do I will be taking a quiet moment to pause and catch my breath. I hope you know you can do the same too.
