Care about people. Just stop caring about what people will say about you.
You’re not a mind reader, get over it. You’re not going to change the world by waiting on everyone’s approval. You’re not going to be happy by assuming people will hate what you’re doing.
Even if all the assumptions you have about what people will think about you are true. What does it matter? You’re living your life for you, not your parents, not your friends, not the strangers walking by you on the sidewalk, not your coworkers, not anyone else. If you don’t live your life on your terms, you’ll have a lot of regrets.
So why are you still waiting? Why aren’t you doing? Why are you leaving your dreams to be taken by someone else?
Don’t tell me you don’t have time? Most people work 8 hours a day, sleep 8 hours a day and do what else then for the remaining 8 hours?
The only difference between you and @opera or Mr. Wonderful or @vancityreynolds is that they used all the hours in the day they had effectively. We all get the same amount of time, use at least some of those hours to achieve your dreams.
You won’t regret it. 😎👍⚡️✅ Tag a friend who would love to read this message!

Seeking validation DESTROYED my self-worth. I had a ridiculously hard time (unapologetically) going after what I wanted. Fear of judgment, rejection, and failure stopped me. I CRAVED acceptance and validation. I just wanted to belong after years of never feeling like I was enough. I didn't realize how badly I was hurting myself. More AMAZING content at the link in my bio!

What a perfect message for me today. We all have the power to change our thoughts. Take for example how I was feeling yesterday and missing my dad who has passed away. Yes, we should acknowledge our feelings... yes, I was sobbing yesterday over it... and I’m still sad today...
BUT, today I’m choosing to put my focus on something positive. I’m choosing to believe that my father is still with me even though I can’t see him and he is happy and someday we WILL be together again. I am choosing to feel that sadness and breathe deep and remember my dad wouldn’t want me to be sad for the rest of my life and so I’m choosing to be happy.
What situation in your life could you choose to look at differently? Is there a problem or issue that you could change your mindset on that would cause it to improve? I’d love to hear your thoughts below. 💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗

I have an online friend who always seems to text me when there is something going on in their life that they want to complain about. They probably don’t even realize that they do it as often as they do. If you believe in the idea that “like attracts like”, you would understand that complaining only brings you MORE THINGS IN LIFE TO COMPLAIN ABOUT!!! Did a lightbulb just go off for you? 💡
And if you ABSOLUTELY have to complain about something, try this instead. Talk about it to ONE person, get it out, then let it go. I believe a lot of people will complain to one person then look for someone new to complain about the exact same thing to! Is this you?
Better yet, try to see the positives in life! The more you train your brain to see the good in things, the easier it is to naturally just see the good! This is not an exercise in just ignoring things though. Obviously if there are REAL, MAJOR issues in your life, you need to examine them and figure out a way to improve upon it. In general though, being #happy is something we can do by being more conscious of our thoughts and making a decision to look for the positive. Everything starts in the #mind. 💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗
