Scorpio season starts today and the Full Moon on October 24th will fall on the sign of Taurus.
Expect this Full Moon to be erratic, unpredictable and expect the unexpected. We may see some unexplained behaviors, things may come up out of the blue, and we may be tested in unexpected ways.
Sometimes we are tested until we learn the lesson and find the truth.
The best will be to keep the balance and emotions in check. Seek grounding energy that will help ride the wave this week.
With Scorpio season and Samhain next week the energies intensify. If you feel drawn to do shadow work or ancestral work, this is a good time. .
An extra dose of patience and acceptance will be needed. Focus on the ability to adapt and embrace change even if it feels uncomfortable but that allows energy to flow, heal and grow.
This is the time to focus on what you want more than what you need in relationships, as well as balance and career long term goals.

Think of your mind as muscle, where the training isn’t much different than muscle training for the body. Start by focusing on the here-and-now, being fully present. When distractions come in, which they will, go back to the task at hand without judging. And when things get challenging and the task seems impossible, look at it as an opportunity to grow.
Remember working on your mental muscle is a regular practice that will help you to develop many useful skills in life. Start practicing.
Today I woke up feeling like I’m about to get sick. I ache all over, my head feels fuzzy and despite sleeping for 9 hours I could fall asleep at any moment. On top of that my skin is not enjoying something in my life right now, did anyone else’s skin get worse before it got better when they gave up drinking? I’m feeling sorry for myself today but have a gym date with my best friend booked in for after work to keep me focused. Here’s hoping I feel better after that. Hope you all have a great day ☀️

Bin ich spirituell?! 🤨
Was bedeutet das eigentlich? Muss ich dafür an irgendetwas glauben?
Wenn man sich mit dem Wort Spiritualität beschäftigt, dann erkennt man darin das Wort „Spirit“ oder „Geist“. Oft wird Spiritualität mit religiösem Verhalten verglichen. Ich finde, spirituell sein bedeutet aber nicht gleich, dass man an etwas oder gar jmd glaubt. Spiritualität hat so viele Farben 💜
Ich glaube nicht an Gott oder irgendwelche Gestalten, aber ich lebe so, als würde alles ein großes Ganzes ergeben und die Dinge, die mir widerfahren alle einen Sinn ergeben. Und sollte es auch nicht so sein, diese Weltansicht ist mir lieber als eine, die davon ausgeht, das Dinge einfach so passieren und Menschen wohl immer wieder Pech haben. Ich finde, der Optimismus der auch hinter Spiritualität steckt, lässt einen die Welt positiver betrachten. Und das mag ich 😊

A gentle reminder that you *can* change the way you think. You *can* break lifelong habits in your thinking. And you can most definitely use crafting to help you slowly make those changes. A few years ago, I would have said I hated the online world. Social media was constantly making me feel unworthy and feeding my self-critical thoughts, and having only then been recently diagnosed with M.E., going online made me feel more alone than ever. It took me a long time to transition my time online from a very negative experience to a positive one ✨
But I did it, and especially with the help of creating my Mindfully Evie social media accounts, I now view the online world as a place I can go to feel connected, uplifted, positive and inspired. I can honestly say this transition into how I now feel when I come online is one of the most important things I have done for my wellbeing these past few years.
While many of us are aware of the impact the online world is having on our mental well-being, not enough of us are being encouraged or know what to do about it. In this blog post I’ll be sharing all the things that have helped me make this positive transition in the hope that you can achieve it too 💭
There are two main ways to change how social media and the technology world impact you. The first, the internal factor, is to change your perspective. The second, the external factor, is to change the way you use it.
I really hope this post inspires and empowers some of you to look at how you use your time online and assess whether it’s making you feel worse or better, and if it’s the former, I hope this post can help install some of those changes you can make to turn it into a positive experience.
