Week 1 Faster w/10 Minute Ab "Make time for yourself. You are worth it." Day 2 was tough. Not going to lie it whooped my ass. Those of you who don't think you can get a good workout in 20 minutes obviously don't know @shaunt
The man can push you to the max in mere minutes 20 is cake for him.
This workout is aptly named faster because it is fast paced non stop action for 20 minutes. From start to finish he pushes you to go further and faster and harder. Towards the end my muscles were giving out and couldn't complete the moves sometimes. No problem just modified for a few seconds then right back to work.
Added the ab program from this program at the end and man was I right that it would be challenging. Adding the step into make for new angles and such. Great ab workout. I was sore like just a couple hours later.
Daughter still doing her best to keep up with her old man. She even twisted her ankle like a minute in but pushed through and finished the workout. I'm excited to see her results at the end.

One New Years resolution of mine was to read more. It took me awhile to settle on a book but tonight I finished The Cat Who Lived High by Lilian Jackson Braun.
This book was made for cat lovers...but I honestly dont know how much you will like the book if you don't have a thing for cats! Its an easy read murder mystery with fun characters and quirks. The ending wrapped up a bit too quick for me but other than that I thought it was great! I hear it's a series and will eventually (not rushing) be checking out more
Next I plan on scouting out Dean Koontz...

He replied “ I don’t know, I only start counting when it hurts.” creating the dream you hold in your mind can be hard, the path is sometimes lonely, it can be scary. I got in a lift, and a gooooood fricken lift at that. My husband pushed my ass out the door early, and can I just say a giant kudos to you who fight the ridiculous crowd during peak hours because.. Literally shoved myself in the smallest corner section of the gym littered with others who heard me say the f word and make this face 🥴 multiple times because... wall work. But seriously my spirits are so lifted. Life has been sending my emotions all over and tonight I was reminded the blessing in finding my outlet. Although right now I can’t be there as much as I’d like, I need to remember to be thankful I have an outlet. 🙏🏼 *Also noted my lovely selfie in the dressing room goes to show the crowd in fluctuation. 🤣
I fell sick and it’s been one of the worst flu bugs I’ve had in a long while. Since I was pretty healthy last year, I continued to push myself through this bug hoping I’d get over it, but it’s only been getting worse.
I felt really bad contemplating whether or not to cancel classes (bcos I really enjoy teaching and I do miss my students!) but I think it’s time to listen to my body and be mindful of its needs. It’s time to rest.

So how did I find balance? How did I stop giving up and starting over? How did I make this a lifestyle, not a diet or a program? I transformed my MIND. The reason that you can't stick to something is psychology. It's the habits that our brain has formed over time. These habits cause us to repeat the same behaviors over and over. Unless we can tap into our brains and change these habits, we will likely continue down the same path of defeat.
When we use something such as a workout program to create discipline/healthy habits, while learning how our mind works to overcome bad habits, we can transform our minds and bodies. I could create a generic workout program and sell it off, but that's not my passion. I want you provide you with more value than that. I don't want you to finish a program and feel lost again. I want to give you the tools necessary to live a healthier lifestyle but to also transform your life.

Some people like to think I’m this stuck up unapproachable bitch.. but truth is, if you knew anything about me or took the time to actually talk to me or get to know me you would know that I’m actually the complete opposite. I care too much, I’d do anything for the people that I love, my heart is gold and I love to love. We all have our demons and our insecurities.. I’m far from perfect & what you see isn’t always what you get! We live in a world full of filters and sometimes it’s all about them angles 😅 But one thing I know for sure is, I’ve worked my ASS off for years to get to where I am today. Not just physically but mentally. I’ve come a long way and I never used to look the way that I do AT ALL. I’ve fought personal battles people know nothing about. I’ve dealt with depression and I’ve been in a place where I hated myself but I’ve learned over the years not to be jealous but to be inspired by the people we look up to because life is too short to constantly compare yourself & to judge someone’s story you know nothing about. I post pictures that seem a little too racy sometimes but I’ve come a long way from where I once was & I’m sooo proud of myself. I don’t care who likes it and who doesn’t 🤷🏽♀️ if you don’t then there’s an unfollow or an unfriend button for a reason. Guess what I’m trying to say is.. Never let someone dim your light simply because it’s shining in their eyes 🤗
