Adventure is a cool word, actually one of my favorites. It means something a little different to each one of us. The funny thing, though, is that I think we as a society have come to think that adventure can only be sought in some distant land. I beg to differ, adventure can be had anywhere you allow it to occur, even in the middle of downtown Atlanta on a nameless Monday afternoon, on the way home from yet another in what seems an infinite series of doctors appointments. My name is Ben, my friends call me Ben Ben, and on this day I experienced an awesome adventure with my fam.
Did you know that there are around 50 old mill sites in the metro Atlanta area alone, most dating back to the 1820’s-1830’s?? This is The site of the old Houston Mill, off Peach tree Creek in Decatur. most people drive right past and never even notice
Pineland's Folk Music & Basketry in Mill Race Village sure does exactly what it sounds like they carry musical instruments and teach you how to play them plus they carry basket making supplies & teach basket classes; but, that's not all. They also carry Wild Berry which is an American made incense lovingly hand-dipped since 1971. It is made from proprietary formulas of only the finest ingredients. And if you buy 10 sticks they give you one biggie free. Isn't it time for a visit? #millrace#millracevillage#millracevillagenj#millracevillageshops#pinelandsfolkmusic#pinelandsbasketry#wildberryincense
