Tequila fun fact of the day:
Have you ever questioned why there isn’t such thing as Australian tequila? All Tequila must come from Mexico and can only be produced in the state of Jalisco and some places in the states of Nayarit, Guanajuato, Michoacan & Tamaulipas. That’s been protected by Denominations of Origin since 1997.
Haven’t got a ticket to our Tequila & Mezcal tasting night yet? Click link on bio to secure your spot.. there are not many places left!
Today, @wyldbread and I are co-hosting a fun Pan de Muerto baking class. Join us in stories for all the behind-the-scenes. And for everyone who couldn't join us I've shared a delicious recipe on the website (link in bio). If you make it please share photos, I'd love to see your pan de muerto.
For my first night of my food excursion across Mexico City, I ended my night at el vilsito. An auto body shop by day and a taqueria by night! Filled to the brim with locals this culinary gem specializes in tacos al pastor (marinated, spit roasted layered pork tacos). For $0.80 cents a taco you can plunder your body with delicious, spicy, juicy, charred pork covered in a symphony of salsas and toppings 🤤.

What is your favorite thing to grill right now? We can’t get enough of the Mexican Street Corn! Smoky, buttery, creamy, cheesy Summer goodness. We used to only have it a a local restaurant until they were kind enough to share their recipe with me. Now we order other dishes there, but make this at home because it’s good with everything and always a crowd pleaser.
