Summer don't go! We could spend days browsing around this pure #mediterranean gem @mucem_officiel – Musée des civilisations de l’Europe et de la Méditerranée in #Marseille southern France. This multi-disciplinary museum focuses mostly on Mediterranean cultures from prehistory to the present and temporary exhibitions of contemporary art. #mucem is one of the world’s largest ethnographic museums consisting of two adjacent buildings: the historical Fort Saint-Jean and a new iconic building opened in 2013 and designed by French architect Rudy Ricciotti which looks like a fisherman's net. The two buildings are connected by a 115-meter-long pedestrian bridge opening a stunning panorama of Marseille's waterfront.
