One aspect of my spirituality I’ve been meditating on recently is: faith in the things you do not know. For me, this is most pronounced in areas of interpersonal impact, the unfolding of life path events (synchronicity), why healing works the way it does, energy, love, & the higher power of my understanding. 🌏 I do not know. But what I do know is that when I have belief, magic happens. When I doubt, control, or over analyze, my inherent gifts of creation, intuition, & influence... stop working altogether. ✨ Yet when I allow understanding to unfold without controlling it- I end up understanding the whole, at a slow and steady rate anyway. That’s powerful. That’s the opposite of a trauma reaction; that’s trust and faith. 💫
We were not put on this earth to prove anything to anyone. Do your thing, be yourself. And you'll start crossing paths with people who live as authentically as you do. 🕉 #nowenergy

As we are wrapping up 2018, we've created a powerful exercise to help you finish the year strong.
Looking back on the year...
- What are you most proud of, no matter how big or small? - Where have you received praise
- What challenge have you overcome and/or are still overcoming?
Looking ahead towards the future...
- If you could accomplish just one thing before the end of the year, what would it be?
- What is one task you have been putting off that is causing you stress or dissatisfaction?
- What is one feeling you want to have regularly?
- Set aside at least 20 mins
- Somewhere quiet
- Can do alone or with others
- Pen and paper
Do you follow role models or real models? Does your feed inspire you or envy you? Does your scroll drive you to build a better life or does it allow you to escape it for a while? I see the positive impact of social media. I witness community, networking, activism and opportunity. I also see the negative. The hate, criticism, abuse and self-degradation. You get to choose what you engage in and what occupies your time on here. If you’re not inspired, if I don’t impact your life in some way, if something doesn’t serve you, leave it. Walk away. Re-evaluate what you see before you. Follow and unfollow as needed. Repeat. // ashespassages

It’s okay to rest. It’s okay to leave space. It’s okay to not fill up your planner. It’s okay to relax first and hit the list later. It’s okay to not be producing something every waking moment. It’s okay to do absolutely nothing at all. In fact, doing nothing can turn into the sweetest something - you begin to notice the steady, quiet way life carries you, without any special effort on your part. Be still sometimes. Be slow. Rest up. #rest#relax#slowdown#selfcare#selflove#spiritualevolution#bestill#meditation#mindfulness
Sometimes you are called to be the sunshine in someone’s cloudy day. Life is about human interaction and helping each other when needed. If your neighbor is having a gray day, don’t be afraid to shine positivity their way. #officialvision

Compassion definition is - sympathetic consciousness of others' distress together with a desire to alleviate it.
This Wednsaday during our Month of Mudras we are offering: 🌸 Lotus Mudra
Draw inspiration from this Mudra that represents the purity and perseverance of the lotus flower floating above the muddy waters of desire, fear, and attachment.
This Mudra is said to remind you of the natural beauty of your soul
while also calming the mind.
To practice this Mudra bring your hands softly into prayer 🙏 in front of the 🧡 heart center. Slowly unfurl your hands like a lotus flower blossoming open. Keep the base of the hands together, along with the thumbs and little fingers. Allow the index, middle, and ring fingers to gently open.
Our director Susanna Barkataki demonstrates this beautifully for us below.
Tag us in your pics @ignitebewell and use the hashtag #ignitebewellmudra ✌
