Most people are familiar with the phrase “til the cows come home”
This phrase means “for a very long, indefinite amount of time” or is so eloquently used to describe an activity that is futile or unproductive “you can argue with me until the cows come home, but it will not change my mind.”
......And you know what’s so interesting about old folklore? Most of the time, it just makes simple sense! Cows, by nature, are rather slow animals who are generally not in a hurry to get anywhere but the next patch of green, grassy, grazing goodness!
......To me, the main message of that sweet saying is how enjoyable and easy the environment is on all souls that experience the freeing feeling of the farm.
......I enjoy taking you through the journey of the various happens of life in a way that make you stop, consider and wonder. I want you to picture yourself all cozied up, doing some porch sitting with a hot beverage, chatting about all the thoughtful things.
......So instead, you have two options friends.....you could plan a visit for a one-of-a-kind unforgettable experience (link in bio above 🔗 ) or let me know how does “til cows come home” saying relate with any situation you might find yourself in? Because I have my drink in my hand and would love to know!
We love the Orkney coastline, but sometimes we can be guilty of ignoring the beautiful views you can find inland. The Stenness Loch is a stunning spot, with views over Orkney's rolling farmland towards the hills of Hoy. It's even better in that soft winter light ❤ #visitorkney#loveorkney
Bologna, la “rossa”, perché dall’alto delle colline offre una vista omogenea di tetti dalle tegole rosse, ma anche “la rossa” per le tradizioni politiche dei suoi cittadini.
