Flowers that go on for days🌹🌷💐
When the energy is right there is effulgence. 💚
Thanks to my special friend who tracked me down to send these elements of beauty. 😊🙏💙🕉
10 months of life with this sweetie 🙈 How’d we already get to the double digits?! She’s at the point where staged photos are SO tricky & aren’t her fave at all.🙅🏼♀️ I had to bribe her with the cat’s toy(she always wants it 🤷🏼♀️😂) & puffs in order for her to sit still long enough so this photo wasn’t just a crawling blur 😅 .
She loves to point at everything in sight(see that in the photo?), waves hello 👋🏻, says “uh-oh” when she drops something, calls me Mom now instead of Mamama 😍, is getting pretty darn good at drinking out of an open cup all on her own and loves walking around while just holding on to one of our hands. 💪🏻
Love you so much, my always on the go little munchkin ✨

The radiators in my apartment turned on for the winter which reminded me that I’m never ready for summer to end. I am thankful to have visited Denver, Pittsburgh, Kentucky, North Carolina, Ohio and I even (intentionally) camped out for a wedding in Iowa. The places were great, but the people made it even better.
Here’s an appreciation post and real insight into the people that made our Inca Trail Trek possible : the porters! I feel like there’s not enough posts out there highlighting the importance of choosing a tour company that really values their porters and treat them fair. If you’re planning on doing any long treks in Peru then there’s no doubt that your tour will involve porters. Each porter carry ~50lbs each on their back and hike / run the same trails as we do (and the trails are no joke either since it’s always a steep uphill or steep downhill climb). They always leave after us from the campsites and they always get to the next meeting point before we do. They set up everything for us by the time we get to our campsites like our tents, etc. and provide 3 huge delicious meals for us every day. The porters are from different villages in the Cusco region and the job itself is far from easy. We decided to go with @trekwithalpaca because we can see how much they value their porters and the transparency in everything that they’re doing for the porters and their family (and they’re working on women empowerment projects!) This is not an ad but a reminder to do your research, educate yourself when you travel, and put efforts into finding more about different tours or companies instead of going with the cheapest or easiest option. This is also a reminder to always tip and be respectful to the natives because that’s the least that we can do.
Thankfully @the_foodie_lifestyle_edit is flying back from Hong Kong tonight. It's been frankly dull without her. That's as soppy as I'll get - stiff upper lip and all that.
Question of the day - When people say they're looking for a "partner in crime" do they actually mean someone to go shoplifting with?
