Y’all know I love playing with words...Here’s something really cool I’ve noticed that I want to share with you.
We talk about “well being” a lot. Most would agree that it’s a state of happiness or wealth or health. Something to explore or attain or protect in some cases.
If you pay close attention - this way of seeing it, though, implies separation.... So. Here’s a spin that shifts the whole experience:
Think of well being as the well of Being.
Use “well” as it refers to “a spring, a source, a supply, a reservoir.” You are always connected to the endless supply that BEING alive provides.
The source of which you are never separate from.
You are essentially always swimming in, supported by and moving through Being.
As if it’s water or air. As if Life/Love/🌟Existence is the well. It’s never not around or with you.
It’s always supporting you. It’s endless.
Your well-being comes from the well of Being, which is ALWAYS and has always been available.
What motivated me to post this?
Well, I was doing a meditation and was called to sit in front of my book case. I asked to be shown what needed to be seen and remembered.
As I scanned the shelves, my intuition knocked me on a journal from 2016. I opened it and started reading the first page.
I had reframed “well being” this way two years ago.
Reading my own words was a beautiful reminder for me.
And my next impulse was to share it with you.
Be in the well of Being.
You are always connected and supported. ❤️️

Team photo? Lemme just grab this mooring Iine real quick. Miss doing reef cleans in ripping currents with my @gilidivers family.
It's hard to put into words how I feel about leaving Gili trawangan after 8 months, especially at this delicate period for the island but, the time has come for me to head home for a little while. Huge shout out to everyone that I've worked along side in any capacity since the earthquake, you're all legends in my eyes and I have nothing but respect for you. And to my @gilidivers family, thank you for letting me fly my freak flag with you guys. I love you all and would follow every single one of you to the depest parts of the ocean. AHOO! AHOO! AHOO!

Here's a picture of one the most magestic, graceful and deadly creatures to ever be seen in the deep blue! And a bandid sea snake.

I don't think I'll ever 'tyre' of diving life, especially while at the bounty wreck.

That one time I took 11 of my nearest and dearest diving with me for my 30th birthday celebrations. They say never take your friends or family diving because it will be a shit show. It was, but it was a beautiful shit show. Thankyou @mekanphotography for capturing it all.
// MAJESTIC // As John Gay says, “Thus shadow owes its birth to light.” In photography one looks for capturing the perfect light. But a scene fully washed in bright light is also marked by shadows. For my part, I don't see the light. I am only looking for shadows by telling stories with and get my Heros highlight.

That one time in Sicily when Tom and I set out for an all day hike, and then didn’t make it past the first beach 💁🏼♀️
