Woke up this morning to the alarm and growled Lennon for turning the alarm on at 6.30am on a Saturday. To my dismay, the reality check of it being Friday hit very early and am now wishing it was weekend adventure time 😑
Having just dashed to the ferry in the pouring rain, I'm missing the sunny weekend even more! At least I made the most of it, with lovely catchups and lots of outdoor time. This is Saint Heliers, a beautiful beach in a string of gorgeous beaches along #Auckland's Eastern Bays #twofeetrepat
Fun fact I learned whilst aboard @explorebayofislands seeing dolphins for the first time - dolphins are randy little animals and some females have been known to have up to 15 partners in an hour. 😱 Do you still think they are cute?? 😂
It is almost that time of year again when the hiking tracks open for the summer season and fun in the sun begins. If you haven't yet thought about your trip and you need help planning and knowing where to go, I can help. A lot of really amazing walks/hikes can get booked up before the season even begins so take the plunge and get it sorted now ✔📍
Maungawhau (Mount Eden) is the highest natural point in #Auckland and the view from the top shows some of my favourite things about the city - its beautiful location on the harbour and the many gorgeous green spaces. On a day as stunning as Saturday, it's the perfect spot to take in Auckland!
