Why people are still eating meat in 2019?
We are not taking about some poorer countries or countries with the cold climate, where in fact people suffer from hunger or they got nothing to eat. We are talking about countries with lots of stores, markets and restaurants. We are talking about the places where everybody can afford yourself so much food that can’t even eat. Countries with a huge verity of fresh fruits, vegetables, grains and nuts... And still ... people are eating meat and other animals products.
People are just used to it, it’s comfortable and easy to get and what’s even more it tastes good ( with salt and spices of course). It’s obvious that long time ago people didn’t have a choice they just had to kill animals to survive but now everything is different!
It’s 2019 already! Wake up you not gonna die from hunger.
There’s already no need to chase a mammoth. You are not in the Stone Age.
You can substitute any of your favorite dishes to plant based ones 🌱
Animals should not suffer anymore just because of our habits, convenience or taste...

Giving up meat really makes miss BBQ sometimes, especially when I go visit my family in Georgia for a week and it’s all I see 😫 BUT BBQ Jackfruit really satisfies those times when I’m craving something savory and smoky. It’s the easiest thing to make, and @traderjoes finally has their canned jackfruit back in stock!! It may not be BBQ season but you can make this in the oven in a snap. Here’s the recipe: ... 1 20-oz can of jackfruit in brine (drained, rinsed, broken apart), 1/2 diced onion, 3 cloves minced garlic, 1/2 cup veggie broth, 1/2 cup BBQ sauce.
... Preheat oven to 400 degrees. In a large pan, sauté the onion in olive oil over medium heat for a few minutes. Add garlic and cook for an additional minute. Add the jackfruit and mix well. Add the veggie broth and simmer for about 10 minutes until broth is absorbed. Spread the mixture on a baking sheet and cook in the oven for 10 minutes. Drizzle BBQ sauce on top and cook for 10 minutes more, until browned. Toss the jackfruit and BBQ sauce together and eat up 👌🏾

Chipotle flavored Hamburgers! We love a good big burger and we love chile chipotle so i decided we should mix it up 😁!!! I asked my butcher for ground beef and he gave me ground diesmillo (chuck steak) and we loved it! It came out so juicy. I'm sorry i didn't take many pics i was running low on time. -Put the meat in a large wide bowl. The trick is not to move the meat so much or it will get tough. Flatten the meat at the bottom of the bowl and add your spices evenly. All i added was garlic salt, Lawry's meat seasoning, black pepper, a little Chipotle powder, and a splash of milk (to keep it moist). Then mix it all together gently. Flatten your meat at the bottom of the bowl and with your fingers try to divide the meat already evenly for your meat patties. Heat up a frying pan, grill, or what ever way you want to cook your burgers. (The grill is best in my opinion 😁) make your meat pattie with your hand try to make the center a little flatter than the outer edge because it usually puffs up as it cooks in the center. Don't squish them with your spatula or the juices will run out. Flip it over once it's starting to change color on the edges. It shouldn't take more that 3-5 min per side. Depends how well done you want it. Put them on a plate and your slice of cheese as they come out so that it melts. -I like to mix Chipotle adobo sauce in the mayonaise and use that as my spread. Have your lettuce, onion, tomatoes, pickles, bread, and everything ready to build your burgers. You can grill your onions and some peppers too if you want to be extra bomb. 😁 My Husband likes to put whole chipotle peppers in the burger too. Do it if you dare 🔥🔥🔥🔥
