TRAVEL BLOGGER MYTH: 📸 You need a fancy camera to take awesome travel pics or start a blog.⠀
Fun fact - almost EVERY photo on my feed (this one included) was taken on my iPhone. I only recently (like last week) bought a real fancy-pants camera. GASP. ⠀
Don't feel like you need tripods or lenses or DSLRs or whatever to capture your memories. A phone is much easier to haul along and no one ever has to know!
How's everyone doing? Here are some more images from the touristy pictures.
I have been intrigued by the tourists taking pictures at the recocnisble sites.
Whenever I have been looking online at pictures from sites like piccadilly circus or houses of parliament, I always thought most of them are superbly similar.
I also had been intrigued by creation of different things. The combination of these things got me to point my glass on the tourists.
I don't have a name for this series. It is a on going series.
The pictures of this series have been created in london and were shot on film.. I will post some more over next few days.
A little hint of yam orange, to add some colour to this dull, cloudy and extremely humid weather - don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining, I love hot weather, however not so much of a big fan when it comes to 90% humidity.... Dammit a girl needs her oxygen to breath 🥵..... Looking forward to that sunny 30°c coming our way! Let the summer officially commence!
How's the humidity coming along for the rest of you? I can honestly say, as a warm blooded being, I would like to jump in a pool of ice ❄️🍧

Looking forward to a five o'clock tea and the renovated Big Ben Tower in 2021
I was nothing more than just another tourist, doing all the well-known, pre-envisioned touristy things one does when they drop into London. I was enjoying my first walk along the Thames, rain clouds and sunlight were engaged in a constant struggle.
I shuddered at the notion of waiting in line for the Eye, and made my way to Westminster Bridge. I made it to the top of the steps and was then greeted by the most appalling sight. Under the dramatic backdrop of that magnificent palace, one of my fellow human beings was relegated to hawking the world’s most inhumane sandwich.
It was all so crass to me, it made my head spin. I stood there watching the man for a fee minutes and he barely moved. His eyes remained transfixed towards some blank point in space. He sat there motionless , as if under some spell of dread.
I walked away and made a lap around the river bridges and 20 minutes later found myself back at the Subway guy. He was in the same mummified pose, when suddenly he stood up with his sign, but without changing his vacant glare, and just stood there. It was like watching a Queen’s Guard of menial labor. It was my first day in the city and I was crushed by an overwhelming sadness.
I tried to make eye contact with him by staring at him for minutes at a time. His eyes were as if afraid to cross themselves with another man’s. I kept looking and looking and then I saw it! His eyes made a quick dart in my direction! We locked eyes! “There’s someone in there!” I thought and went up to him. “Hello! I don’t mean to stare but I’m curious. How much do they pay you!?” He was silent and not looking at me. “I don’t mean to be nosey. I’m Nick.” More silence. I stood by for what felt like an eternity and he continued to ignore me.
My anger was rising. It doesn’t feel good to be ignored. “CAN YOU RESPOND!?” I yelled. More silence, but this time his eyes for a second time made a quick shift to my own gaze before returning to his original state.
I was furious now. I followed his arrow and marched to the Subway to complain and tell them he spat at me. “If he gets fired...” I thought, “ it’s for his own good.”
