When we were in London, John and I treated ourselves to a @flytographer photo shoot. It was so much fun and we really love having some nice pictures as a memento of our vacation. 📷: Jimmy in London for Flytographer
Ok, I'll confess. I'm a bit of a hopeless romantic, Casablanca is one of my favourite movies and Paris is one of my favourite cities in the world. So coming back from a recent trip to the City of Lights, I get off my train to London at this late hour, tired and just wanting to get home to bed... and then I see this. The perfect representation of what train travel should be: the young couple meeting under the platform clock, ready to hop that train to their future, to their destiny... I think that most people have forgotten about the glamour and excitement of travel. That it's about just going to a destination, seeing what there is to see, and then going home. But there is more to it. Sometimes it's not about the destination at all, but the journey, and who we do it with. I'll bring this up later, but this reminds me of three things: that the journey is as important as the destination, that trains are a great way to see Europe, and third, and most importantly, We'll always have Paris. (I did warn you, Casablanca is one of my favourites!)
#London What can I say? i lived there for 6 years and will take it with me wherever i go. There are certain places in the World where you could always come back and they will always surprise you. Which one is yours?
#Londres ¿Qué puedo decir? Allí vivi 6 años y lo llevaré conmigo allí donde vaya. Hay algunos sitios en el mundo a los que siempre puedes volver y siempre te sorprenderan. ¿Cual es el tuyo?
