BFO Mens Outlet was a “Spot”(Secret Places of Thieves) located on 21st and 5th Ave in NYC. It was on the second floor of an office building and you had to take an elevator to get upstairs. When the elevator doors opened up you were right inside the store. They had the nerve to sell wild Polo by Ralph Lauren with no alarms. This is the place where stars were born! More stories about BFO in my book. PHOTO CIRCA.1987 NYC.

Double OG Polo boosting vet KB from Albany & Fenimore. This is one of the dudes that helped set the bar in the Lo rocking game. Every fly guy’s arch nemesis and true booster to the core. Boosting Polo was a competitive sport and everyone who participated wanted to be the supreme Polo king. It was much more than gear. It was mostly about the bragging rights. KB was definitely one of those boosting architects that got super busy from early. The type of guy that took whole Polo sections like it was nothing and could pop tags for weeks and months at a time. KB seen here Polo by Ralph Lauren down to the socks with the Polo frames. #polo#vintagepolo#ralphlauren#lolifes#loheads#boosters#fashion#menswear#streetwear#gq#brooklyn#crooklyn#1980s#oldnyc#albanyave#bookscomingsoon
