Exerted by acres of green
Sustaining you by
these typa views are as necessary as the oxygen to your lungs. (this may or may not have just been an excuse to drop my poetry as a caption cos why not)
I share little bits and pieces of my writing here and there, but the last time I actually published my writing on my blog was in July of 2018. I had a sudden urge to write after my son went down for a late nap at 6pm today after making dinner with one hand and bathing with him —feeling completely overwhelmed and this is what I got.. here’s to the mamas. 🖤
golden hour tonight was special. It reminded me of spring and summer. I don’t know about you guys, but winters are always so hard on my spirit. Not being able to get outdoors really takes a toll on me and I’m dying to find some peace during this season. How do you guys deal with the long winter months? What keeps you guys positive and motivated?
Nothing to see here that you already haven’t seen before 🥴

A composite image of two of my photos. The main image I took a year ago from the roof of @tjtower and the phases of the eclipse was shot on Sunday night. It’s a little different than my normal post, but 🤷🏻♂️
"Creativity is possible in any activity which actively engages human intelligence." - Sir Ken Robinson⠀
Having kids brings new light to how I see the world. The more we go out, the more new experiences they have. The more new experiences they have, the more their minds and creativity is engaged. And watching how they navigate, interact with and interpret the world around them fascinates me to no end.⠀
Because just about everything they do, they do as beginners, it reminds me to use my beginners mind myself. Basically having an open eager attitude with a lack of preconceptions.
