The first mention of this mill was in 1086. Holy cow, that’s old! 😱😍 The mill still works and inside you’ll find the most charming cafe and an ice cream parlor! 🍦☕️👌 What’s the most charming cafe you’ve ever visited?
🇪🇨 I thought this would end up being a cute, casual photo but now I can't get past the fact that I look like a unicorn 🦄 😂
Speaking of mythical creatures: One of my friends thought unicorns were real, but that they just went extinct. 🦄 🤦🏽♀️
Another friend thought the same thing about dragons. They used to be real, but were smaller than in movies (You know who you are!!) 🤦🏽♀️🐲
One of my past students thought narwhals were fantasy creatures (nope, they real)
I also know someone who legit thinks there are fairies in Scotland 🧚🏽♀️
I guess I can't complain too much though, because I believe ghosts are real 👻
Have your friends (or yourself 🤷🏽♀️) had any ditzy/wrong beliefs about animals, or the difference between myth and reality? 👇🏼
I love the sound of the waves 🌊. It relaxes me just as much as the sound of rain.
What sound makes u feel calm and peaceful?
I don’t have as many nightmares as I used to. I was able to take control of it with meditation, yoga but specially playing sounds of waves or rain to fall asleep. I have no idea what the scientific explanation behind it is but it worked for me. Just a little tip in case any of u is having trouble sleeping. It is worth a try. #mentalhealthsupport#letssticktogether
Happy Travels Globetrotters. Don’t forget to look up. 😌🤙🏼 🛏

I love traveling and I love doing it on the ground. Yeah, I flew to Scotland, but the best times and the best memories were made road-tripping through Scotland in a car.
Long nights sleeping in a tiny car. Waking up to the mountains and brisk air. Heating water on a portable stove for 30 minutes to eat your oatmeal and have half a cup of instant coffee. Early morning sunrises. Fast food and recommendations from the locals. Meeting strangers, chatting over a drink by the fire, and saying goodbye.
I am filling with joy simply typing and reminiscing over just a few memories. This is why I think documenting life through photos is so important, you can share the memories and hold onto them for a long time.
One day, I’ll be back on the road because there’s nothing better than adventure and good ole human connection.
Welcome to SLO Cal Poly students! This week @adventureaide is partnering with @cal_poly to take incoming freshmen on adventures all over SLO for WOW week. It’s the perfect way to kick-off the year and experience everything the Central Coast has to offer!

Floating away to another time ☽ ↠
Walking around the harbour in Kalk Bay is quite a surreal experience. It's amazing that the harbour still exists but also that it's still fully functional. Where's the last place you've been that seems like it's stuck in the past?
Living tiny isn't always easy, fun or dreamy as it looks. Seriously sometimes it's the complete opposite.
Last night we tried to sleep in 40 plus mph winds, so you can imagine the noise thudding against the side of the van. Poor little Onyx turned in to a bird but he did get a free face lift and looked happy for a few seconds.
On the plus side our home moves so we have now driven in land to the New Forest! 🌲
Found some awesome new spots this Friday with @adjwashere. We were driving past this garage on the highway and he pointed it out. We had no idea how to get there but eventually found our way. Love when you don’t have a plan and end up somewhere this amazing.
