Hopping between the islands of Gigantes burnt my skin, but the front seat of the boat is still my fave spot. I had the maximum experience on island hopping safe and fun, thanks to @rhettpaul0625 and the team. 💕💕💕

House of Government or Government House in Baku was constructed by the Soviets. Today where the flag is placed, not long ago stood the statute of Lenin. After the fall of Soviet Union the statute was destroyed and flag was hoisted here. Soviet regime named the square as Lenin Square where this building is situated. After the fall of Soviet Union the new regime named it “Azadliq Square” meaning Freedom Square.
There were hotels next to the house of government built during the Soviet regime. They were demolished too after the Independence.
Even in animal kingdom when males mark their territory they would spray a liquid exactly on the place where the other males have left a sign. It’s a way to tell others that it’s their territory and they would defend it. In lions, new males would kill the offsprings of the rival lions while taking over their respective prides. Bigger lions are usually forced to leave the pride and smaller cubs are killed so that lionesses are ready for mating. So new line starts. A new happy family of lions thinking that it would always be like this until one day some new lions come and dethrone the ones who did the same and so on. This cycle continues. Same has happened in history of mankind. New regime always going after the symbols of the previous regime. Flags, monuments or palaces of the falling regime are the main targets and many times it happens that the conquering armies would kill every member of the falling regime so that it creates a deterrent for the others.
However, while I was taking photographs of this beautiful buildings thought crossed my mind. A wild love affair taking place somewhere in the room of the top most floor. A beautiful professor of political science making love to her student. Their bodies burning in fire of lust. ⚖️🏛💏

Amethystine horizons in Santorini [2016 --exactly two years ago today]. ...and yes, I cheated to achieve the violent violet (have you any idea how difficult it is to find naturally purple shots anywhere outside of India?) Trying to provide a variety of violets, people.
Day 305. Hallgrimskirkja, Reykjavík, Iceland. This photo does not do this beautiful church justice. We were there at night and I had no tripod, but I tried to snap a picture anyway. It’s a definite must see when visiting Reykjavik and be sure to go all the way to the top, the view is amazing!
"I am very eager to collaborate with illustrators, chefs and food stylists in the New York area. The idea of creating and working with a team is something I’ve always wanted to do. I am very excited to start planning something big." – photographer Emily Schindler (@etschindlerphotography) on what she's most excited to work on next .
