The power of self-care.
It’s amazing what being in the mountains can do to your mindset.
A strong work ethic is so deeply ingrained into my being that it’s hard for me to take time away from the day-to-day grind.
But I’ve seen how even taking a day to go hiking in the mountains has provided me with the motivation and clarity to move 10 steps forward.
Do you ever just take a day to go up to the mountains to get some clarity?
There is an old deep magic in these woods... Which has seeped into my bones.
So let’s take our hearts for a walk in the woods & listen to the magic whispers of old trees...It is in the still silence of nature where one will find true bliss. 🌲✨
This is a special image for me, even though I didn’t take the picture. I have this amazing collection of Kodachrome slides taken by my father while stationed in Canada’s high Arctic in the late 1950s. He was only 18 years old and in charge of a radio station. Miss him every day and I was certainly fascinated by these pictures when I was small (much later than the 1950s, BTW...😁)

I still dream about Alberta. I've decided that I'm painting my whole house the color of that water. Who is with me? 🙋 | #TravelTuesday
