“Life is not about how fast you run or how high you climb but how well you bounce” ~ Tigger⠀
If I could go back 30 years, I would tell my younger self that life is not just about how successful you are, but more about how well you bounce back from adversity?⠀
I would say….⠀
“Holding on to the pain is pointless and only keeps you trapped”⠀
These days I let go sooner but it’s a skill I had to learn the hard way. ⠀
I have no regrets, only wisdom and some old war wounds to remind me. ⠀
How do you become good at bouncing back in life?⠀
• Develop problem solving skills⠀
• Set yourself goals⠀
• Find a sense of purpose⠀
• Be comfortable with change⠀
• Self-care and self nurture⠀
• Build solid friendships⠀
• Believe in yourself and your abilities⠀
• Become optimistic ⠀

Welcome to a beautiful new week... still in the celebration of Easter. As we remember all that Christ did for us, we are reminded that Jesus fulfilled His purpose on earth and that is why we have all we have and the greatest gift of Salvation.
The life is Jesus, must remind us that we are not just on earth to pass time. We have an assignment to do.
The whole point is salvation is not just to get a spot in heaven when Jesus returns. But more so that you would be a living testimony for Jesus.. #findpurpose#knowyourassignment#livelifetothefullest .
Feel so incredibly fortunate to work in the nutrition world and to really understand there is a massive link between what we eat and our health. I have only just come across this systematic review this week but it is worth a read. This systematic review looked at the impact of gluten consumption on epilepsy and has found that people who has gluten sensitivity or coeliac disease are almost 2 times more likely to suffer from epilepsy.Furthermore a % of people who have epilepsy will have a eduction in disease severity when following a gluten free diet. Following a gluten free diet won’t be a cure for epilepsy - but it may be worth considering a removal of gluten as a trial to see if it helps - Testing for coeliac disease and gluten sensitivity is an option but many traditional tests used in the U.K. lack sensitivity and accuracy so even if you do test and are found to not have coeliac disease or gluten sensitivity it is still in my opinion worth following a strict 100% gluten elimination for a minimum of 2 weeks. This will help you to understand and assess whether following a gluten free diet is or benefit to you . For me finding this research has come at an amazingly helpful time as one of my daughters has epilepsy. She has been having quite a large number of seizures recently despite following a healthy and well balanced diet so we have taken the plunge and she is trialling a gluten free diet - she has now not had a fit for two weeks which is fantastic - this is likely a combination of her medication and her now gluten free diet - but we are feeling hopeful that we have found a way to make a difference and to take some control - time will tell - if you do have epilepsy or know someone with epilepsy considering dietary changes to improve the impact of epilepsy medication is an often overlooked factor. However for most diseases diet represents one of the most important environmental factors that can altered to improve your health so is vitally important to understand and to consider. I am biased but recommend if you have any ongoing health issues you should consider working with a nutritional therapist #takeconttolofyourhealthandwealth#takecontrol#nutrition
Prior to the 1760s, the memento mori style dominated mourning jewels. Memento mori used visual symbolism to represent visceral death and decay, with a leaning towards the fleeting of time and the desecration of the body. It means to remember that you will die and that you will be judged. These concepts remove the living element from the idea of mourning and put the emphasis on living life being all about the outcome of the final judgement. When symbolism like this is invested in knowing your own mortality, the social values of tension on lifestyle and family values are precious, in that they will be the things that define you in the afterlife. #skeletonring#mementomori#symboilism#deathpositive#identity#self#yolo#livelifetothefullest#skull#morbid
