Official first day of second grade for this guy! This is the best picture I could get since apparently he’s too cool now. But by the way Emily is looking at him, you’d think he hung the moon! So maybe he is too cool for school 😏 although he’s currently in his room protesting math soooo #homeschoolproblems#wishusluck

Just a girl + her (pretend) pup 💗Cannot believe my little thumb-sucking, stuffed animal-loving Hazel will be starting preschool next month. She’s been my little sidekick for almost 3 years! It’ll be so nice to have a couple hours to myself, let’s be honest, but it’s going to be quite the transition for both of us 😭😭

“Where’s Nico?...There he is!” Nico has added Hide and Seek to his list of favorites! He loves to run and hide behind his bedroom curtains and pops out when you ask “Where’s Nico?”. He absolutely loves when mommy and daddy “find him” 🙈💙
The Puj Tub takes the stress out of bath time. I remember when I first brought Mo home bath time was a nightmare; he was tiny and so slippery. I only felt safe when I started using the Puj and I never once got a back ache! Practical, safe and very comfortable for both mother and child, this is the perfect aide for newborn and infant showers. We’ve now transitioned to the Charli Chair and couldn’t be happier! For more information about our bath options please send us a DM or call 01364073 and we’ll be happy to help you! 💦
My little handsome is the helper of his class this week. He got to choose a Show & Tell item and his favorite book. His item is a rock that resembles Pac-Man, and his book is the Bible. When I asked why the Bible, he responded, "Because I LOVE Jesus!". My heart smiled over this. I know I'm not exactly where I need to be in my relationship with God, but every day I'm growing like the rest of us Christians... But to know even though I fail at times, and have my own personal struggles, God keeps His hands on my boys' and their own walk. I never want to be the parent who misleads my children. My Faith never fails, but I know I have more growth to take on. I learn not only through my own personal walk, but the walk Gavin takes, and I know I will continue to learn as Bennett embarks on his own walk with Christ. Every day I'm grateful for this life God has given me. I never deserved it.... But I will always make sure it's a life of service. My children are apart of the future, and I know God will continue to guide Cody and I as we lead these little guys in a life filled with JESUS!
Disclaimer:. He asked to sit on the Red Target ball because he loves it. 😊

“Home is where[[the kids]]are” - totally true statement for me! You see, my kids are American, so I am too. However, I was not born here. I was born and raised in 🇨🇱 . And though I’ve been here much longer than I was ever there, there’s always that piece of my soul that ties me to that tiny country down south that has the most beautiful landscape and heart stopping food. (Bread all day errrrr day🥖)
Growing up, there was always that confusion in my heart where I just don’t know where I belonged! You feel American, but you have an accent. You act American and your parents want to ground you to your roots... And being surrounded by my kids and husband I do sometimes forget that my kids are half me and should dang well know where their mamma is from and be proud they are half chilebeans! .
So when I got this cool as heck @mapiful map, the kiddos were ecstatic to see it and have me point exactly where I lived! There are three spots I remember... for starters, I was born in Las Condes, (top) then lived with my grandma in Independencia, (Lower left) and spent the last years in La Florida (center right). All that in the city. city girl at heart ❤️. .
Where are YOU from? 🇨🇱x🇺🇸 HAPPY MONDAY!

I will remember this day forever: Ames very first 1st day of school at MSUM Early Ed Center and Josslyn’s last. There were nerves and giggles and some tears but we know they are in the best hands. Josslyn wants to be a counselor mommy princess when she grows up. Ames wants to be a baba dee and we are still trying to figure that one out. Be kind, have fun, and take risks, my babies.
💁🏻♀️What is the right parent behavior during toddler tantrums? 🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️Is it NORMAL for them to have tantrums anyways? 💁🏻♀️Turns out to be yes, not only normal but also required to establish the right understanding of the world. 2-3 tantrum meltdowns a day is normal. ✨✨✨Of course too many tantrums indicate baby stress or some hidden issues, so it is a topic for another post. But how to turn normal tantrums into correct learning experience for them?
This is all about sense of FUTILITY. 😥Sense of pointless pleads and actions that will not give result that you desire so badly. ‼️DEEP FUTILITY is fundamental for human experience‼️, and very common for many days of our own adult lives. We crash into a wall of circumstances that we cannot change -> we feel angry -> we feel futility of our attempts -> we accept and adjust, and learn and grow. 😇😇 Deep futility is given to humans to prompt them to transform and grow.
For toddlers, it is important to see parents as agents of futility. ‼️If you are always a YES parent, you will not establish required ALPHA DOMINANCE in your attachment bond. Your job as a parents to address all baby’s NEEDS with DEEP SINCERE CARE, but NOT TO SATISFY their every WANT. ❌ Kids seek a caring but dominant person to provide for them, it is their instinct and gives them a sense that everything is right in this world. Daddy said – NO PHONE – and daddy keeps his word because phone is what baby WANTS - but not what baby NEEDS. .
. 🤷🏻♀️Unfortunately modern parents are so confused with liberal views that they often follow baby too much, not able to separate their wants from needs. They allow everything just to avoid tears and tantrums. Babies SUFFER actually, as they feel a void, without dominant alpha around
Darling darling girl. Our empath, our nurturer, our leader. Who loves nothing more than a bike ride with Dad, baking sesh with Mom, calico critters and playing 'Parents' with Oli and Clover. Who yawns at 6:30pm but has a dream of one day staying up until midnight. Who wants to be a mom more than anything. Who cries ugly tears at reunions with loved ones and chooses very wise role models and looks up to them carefully and continuously. Who joins me at 6am for Bible time before the others are awake and does a terrible British accent. Lily Catherine, we adore you! Happy birthday to the girl who made us a family 🎈🎱
Hi I’m Chrissy, I love my boys, my little girl, baby wearing, the beach, being creative, and encouraging others. Thank you for following us... I truly hope we add to your life and never make you feel like we have it all together, cause oh Lord if you only knew half the stuff that happens beyond these squares you’d be like, “I’m doing good, yeah we’re all good”. 😂❤️ Ha ha life isn’t easy or perfect but oh it’s so good! #honestmotherhood#lifeisgood
Only the best for baby’s 🍑🙊 A few people asked me about these @ecoriginals baby wipes when I shared them in my stories a couple of weeks back. They are all natural and plant based with no alcohol or fragrances (perfect for my eczema prone kids) aaaaand they are 100% biodegradable 👌🏼 The biggest win for me is how strong and thick they are. Even though my babies are out of nappies I still can’t leave the house without a packet of wipes in my bag.... not sure how I survived without them Pre-kids 🤔
