In resent years I have fallen in love with made-in-India. First of all curry and yoga.
During long flights the first thing I do is search for Indian movie. It's so fun when the movie suddenly becomes musical and the leading actor and actress, background extras, drivers, bike riders, everybody in the screen starts to dance to typical Indian teu-ru-tu-tu music... Henna the natural hair dye from India is the solution for my thinning hair. Every morning I start with darjeeling milk tea and apply Coconut Whitening and Brightening cream of Indian cosmetic brand Biotique.
So when I went to visit my daughter in States for a month I had to drop by Indian Market. And guess what I found !?! A wonderful Indian cookware. It's called Futura Tava (Griddle) My goal is home made lndian puffed bread but for now.... Crepe Crepe~^^♡ As Crispy as possible.ㅋㅋㅋ
I almost feel guilty doing these, it's so much fun. I guess it's a guilty pleasure, gel pens in a smooth surface? /:@&,?- I stopped smoking years ago, but suddenly I need a cigarette - it was so good. The news today feels monumental - too much for me sometimes. This is an antidote.
I had an art instructor who was taking advantage of his knowledge and position to “play” with his unknowing students creative/sexual energy. He had been projecting the female characters of a book he had written onto some of his students. The book was a love story/ triangle where he played the protagonist. He was using the opposing female characters in the book to set up women in his classes against each other. Having had spoken with some of his former students who had similar experiences with him, I new my experience wasn’t unique. I figured it out and started speaking up. He used his influence and the ambiguity of it to shame me out of the art department. He was a dream snatcher/ vision buster....but I haven’t let that nightmare of an experience ruin me. It was a bump in the road. This was the favorite piece from my last gallery show, where I opened up publicly about my experience. The saddest part is that nobody was really surprised by his behavior. Pretense and ego are in every industry. Know yourself and shine your light on them. If you’re light is too bright hand them a pair of shades 🕶 😎🕶😎🕶, walk tall and proud and know that you are not who they say you are.
She Who Stays Quiet Consents
mixed media on paper
Creeping around in people's energies without consent is evasive and wrong.....sensitive people are aware when this type of thing is happening, when lines are being crossed. Especially when teachers are taking advantage of their positions to do this without discussing it with their students first. It's dangerous and unethical. I DON'T CONSENT!
oh freedom, oh love, oh life, how i wish you’d guide my way, how i wish i’d let you guide my way, for i know you’re here, i know you’re everywhere, you shine, you bloom, you excite, from within, relentlessly and selflessly, you try to always be here for me, yet i find it so hard to see you sometimes, so hard to listen to you, so often i take such great struggles to try to find you, to shape you, to control you, when you’re the air i breathe, the water i drink, the light i see, oh freedom, oh love, oh life, you, oh you, i knew you so well when i was a child, let us start another romance today!
