I love working with the best! We at #Statefarm are giving a 30 day payment extension for insurance payments to government workers affected by the current government shutdown. If you are affected by this, call us to ask for your 30 day payment extension. (Applies to government workers who are not receiving assistance during this shutdown.) #HeretoHelpLifeGoRight#LikeAGoodNeighbor#StateFarmIsThere
Last month, I qualified for the Team Member Hall of Fame for the company where I worked from 2009-2018.
In prior years, I helped lead our team to numerous accolades, including state and national awards, but this personal milestone was perhaps my favorite.
It wasn’t about money markers to me - it was about pouring my heart into helping nearly 70 precious families protect what mattered to them most... their lives.
My solo production (and our team’s overall production) was one of the highest in the nation out of tens of thousands of teams.
The black-tie gala celebrating this achievement takes place this Saturday night. While I choose not to be physically present, I will be there in spirit savoring a moment of recognition for a decade of excellent service to thousands of Californians.
I loved what I do and someday soon look forward to returning to the industry strengthened, wiser, healthier... and better than ever.
What do I love?
It is not straight. It does not always take you where you want to go, however, you end up where you need to be.
Take my week (so far) for example.
Monday. Dropped my daughter off at school. Worked. Then was off to take my mom out to a surprise sushi lunch (she’s not a fan of sushi). Made one stop, came out to my car and my battery was DEAD. I had a warm place to hang out and great company to spend my “layover” with waiting for road side assist (thank you Dawn 😘).
Luckily, I got a jump, took my car to get a new battery and still made it in time to get my daughter from school. #mondayssuck#blessed#brightside
Today. Went to open the garage to take my daughter to school. It doesn’t work. Manually open the garage door and got her to school in time. Noticed my neighbor was home from being in the road, and he came over to help #electricityscaresme
Spent 2 hours in the freezing cold garage trying to find the problem. Learned a few new words, daisy chain, gfi... He even replaced the outlet. Thank you Darryl!!! #truckdriverelectrician#likeagoodneighbor
All I know is that life is an adventure and if I had plans, they weren’t supposed to happen. I am blessed, taken care of and am surrounded by wonderful people. #lifeisajourney
We want to welcome our newest team member Robbie (right) we are so thrilled to have her. Dana (left) has been with us since August and a great addition to our team as well. #StateFarm#likeagoodneighbor

Day 2️⃣ #bethedifference
Make a treat a bring to your neighbor and sprinkle in those yummy essential oils 🤤
Take your neighbor’s trash can to the street. Offer to pick up something for your neighbor at the grocery store.
Be #likeagoodneighbor today by be generous with your time or talents. It doesn’t have to be any of the above. Just focus on being outwardly loving to those around you because you never know what’s going on in their lives 💜
Y’all, #bethedifference today and let us know how it goes ☺️
There are a number of reasons I didn't want to run on the treadmill. The mental game is tough. Tougher when your legs are tight and sore from a crossfit comp the day before and shoveling this morning. But my running bff pushed me to go for it. I didn't do all the miles on the plan as my hamstrings started locking up and cramping at mile 5ish, as you can see by my paces, but I've earned my wine and pie today; the other motivation to just do it. Then I came home to this lovely note on my door. I've shoveled her driveway every year I've lived here. No real reason other than I am more able bodied than she is and that's just what good people do. Each year she tries to hand me cash, each year I refuse. She got me today!
Ran into to my guy John Hogan today at the bank we were both making deposits for our respective businesses. Funny enough I got my start in the insurance industry working in his office and now I have my own Agency. If you asked me 10yrs ago when I dropped my friend off to his office for an interview if I wanted to be an insurance agent I would’ve said no but through working with John for those 4 years and learning the business I grew to love it and it’s now my career. #TBT#Allstateagent#Statefarmagent#areyouingoodhands#likeagoodneighbor Thank you for start my brother.
