I received so much valuable information and knowledge from the @1stphorm Legionnaire conference last weekend, but there was one thing that really stuck with me.
We often look at exercise or eating healthy as a negative concept. We think we ‘have to’ exercise daily to reach our goals or we ‘have to’ stick to our diet plan to be healthier. When we make it a ‘have to’ idea, it becomes a negative emotion towards it.
Instead of always thinking you ‘have to’, work at changing your mindset to think I ‘get to’. I get to move my body through exercise, I get to push myself further, I get to eat healthy foods to fuel my body, I GET to do these things because I am able to!
11 mile run done and now it’s time for my post workout shake, followed by lots of FOOD because this girl is hungry!!

Happy Saturday! ☀️ I wish the sun was shining but it’s raining here in VA ☔️ I did not jump out of bed this morning. I pushed snooze for almost two hours because I could feel a migraine coming. Normally, this would put a damper on my whole day. All the plans I had down the drain. Maybe it’s just part of my battle with procrastination. Do I have a migraine? Yes. Will it stop me? No.

Made these cookie dough oats this morning and the chocolate chips were a game changer as they melted into the raspberries. The cookie dough have lasted so well as I made them a week ago... but it makes them a great snack to make ahead of time and enjoy throughout the week when you’re busy 🍪😋
