This gigantic statue is sitting in a peaceful pose as six female statues kneel around the base, with offerings in their hands. Westfjords are a great example of that, where history of the locations adds another level to the rugged terrain and endless fjords. The northernmost village Bolungarvík and the Ósvör museum for example has been a fishing port since settlement, giving an insight into rough life out on the ocean. The natural hot pools in the middle of a remote fjord allow for relaxation in the most unexpected moment.
