Stepping out on a cold Tuesday morning to catch some light ✨ I caught a glimpse of some frosted dew on my way out and I’m waiting to grab a warm cup of tea soon as I get to work! What’s your favourite way of staying cozy this fall? #tinycolourpopseries
my wandering feet stumbled across this message, spray painted in two different states, approximately 2800 mi apart within the span of a month. the first pic is from the most recent on the streets of NYC and the second was in Venice Beach during my trip to California last month. i finally googled it just a moment ago and learned it was born from a Queens native who goes by the name of Uncutt Art. I read an interview with him tonight and here is a quote from it... “I just want people to identify with getting in that zone of using your inner self. I feel like “protect your heart” is a way of telling people without telling them, and have them come into themselves. It puts them in the position where they have no choice, but I choose to love.” i am guilty of forgetting to guard my heart. there’s a reason i walked across his art, and happened to be looking down.
My grandpa and I have always been close. Like outrageously close. The kind of bond where we've talked about grief and love; loss and success; hopelessness and peace. So here's to a week of soaking up his knowledge while dipping fishing poles into the deepest and clearest waters that Manitoba has to offer ✌🏼! #travelmanitoba#exploremb#explorembfall#neverstopexploring#fromhereandaway
Kye Gompa (also spelled Ki, Key or Kee - pronounced like English key) is a Tibetan Buddhist monastery located on top of a hill at an altitude of 4,166 metres (13,668 ft) above sea level, close to the Spiti River, in the Spiti Valley of Himachal Pradesh, Lahaul and Spiti district, India.
It is the biggest monastery of Spiti Valley and a religious training centre for Lamas. It reportedly had 100 monks in 1855.
In the airport enroute home from Namibia and inspired to (finally) start an Instagram of my travels. One of my fav moments was camping under the stars on Tok Tokkie Trails in the NamibRand Desert - complete with cosy swag bed, 3 course meals, vino and a hot bucket shower with stunning desert views. Highly recommended! #namibiatravel#toktokkietrail#namibrand#namibrandnaturereserve#flashpacker
A stormy day during my 2 hour detour around Glacier National Park this past June. I've been asked a few times recently if I'll ever travel internationally, and I'm sure I will. There's definitely a few places I'd love to see before I can't. But to be honest with you, nothing is more compelling to me than being here and seeing this. America is home to me, and I intend on seeing as much of it's beauty as I can // June 2018
