Workout tip of the day:
Most people will start with flat BB or DB bench press on chest day which isn’t bad necessarily but if you want to build a full chest, switch it up and start with incline to really build mass in your chest. Pause slightly about 1 inch above your chest and don’t lock out your arms to keep constant tension. Try 12/10/8/6/12 reps going heavier each set and lighter on the last 🤙🏾
It's 9:40 at night and I have my workout done. Tonight was a late night due to the high school football banquet. I seriously thought about just making it a rest day. Today was definitely a Monday at work, felt very unorganized and of course I had guests in my classroom (totally forgot about them coming today 🤦♀️). Thinking of ways to keep students engaged at school so they don't start shutting down before break (either Thanksgiving or Winter 🦃🌨🎄). Then I need to start plan something to celebrate Bryli's birthday. Also, we are in charge of Thanksgiving this year. 😳😳 Oh, then there is whole thing of Christmas shopping and making sure we pick the perfect gift. Can you say procrastination??? I wonder where my son gets it. 🤦♀️🤷♀️ The weather really doesn't help my mood either...can it please be 85 degrees, not 25???? If I think about it too much I get overwhelmed and shut down, not wanting to think about any of it. I am lucky to have great support around me. Also, making time for myself everyday helps. It took me a long time to make myself a priority, everything and everyone else came first. When I focus on me, my mind becomes clear and I can see things more clearly. My mood is better, I am not so snippy (the cold winter months are not good for me). So, whatever you do, do something for yourself...you are a PRIORITY!
