There is a Japanese term: Mono no aware. It means basically, the sad beauty of seeing time pass - the aching awareness of impermanence. These are the days that we will return to one day in the future only in memories.
Star trails in Joshua Tree. Saturday night @hann.hoff and myself decided to head out towards Joshua tree to find this arch. Our goal was to find it and shoot Milky Way there. We ended up getting there a few hours before the Milky Way was visible so I had some time to play around. This was my first time trying to shoot star trails and I’m happy with how this came out. I can’t wait to go try it again with a wider angle to get more circles. —-
