@jharden13 has been carrying the @houstonrockets on his back ever since CP3 went out. He has been on one of the most dominating runs in recent memory and the last time someone scored at this level was @kobebryant all the way back in 2005. Harden is averaging 44 points per game in the month of january and his last 2 outings saw him score 57 & 58 points respectively. Tonight he will face the @lakers without Lebron who is still injured, can the beard somehow top his recent performances?
—-> Tonight we have a matchup between two teams with a surprisingly close record at 25-21 and 25-19. But since the Lakers have a better win-loss ratio, I think they have the advantage over the Rockets. Especially with the help of Ivica Zubac, they can close out the game in the fourth quarter.

Jan. 19, 2009: Kobe (30, 13th season) and LeBron (24, 6th) guard each other and hit shots for the ages on Martin Luther King Day 2009 - 10 years ago today. Kobe injured what was already a dislocated ring finger on his shooting hand while guarding LeBron with 10:30 left in the 1st quarter. The Lakers entered the game 31-8, the Cavs 31-7. The Lakers entered this season on a mission to return to the Finals. Kobe Bryant was the reigning league MVP. The Cavs had made it to the Finals and lost to the Spurs the year before that. They would finish the 2009 season with the two best records in the league, the Cavs at 66-16 and the Lakers at 65-17. LeBron would win the first of his 4 MVP's this season. He and Kobe would be named to the All-NBA 1st Team and All-NBA Defensive 1st Team. Kobe was in his 13th season, LeBron in his 6th. LA won 105-88, handing Cleveland their biggest loss of the season up to that point.

Luke Walton said the Lakers will hopefully get Rondo and LeBron on the court for practice tomorrow, but doubts either would play in Monday’s game against the Warriors.

Is Kellerman speaking facts or foolishness? He isn’t saying Kobe isn’t top 10. He said after that he is. He’s just saying the numbers don’t point him to being top 10 necessarily, but the eye test definitely does. Very interesting to me.. -
