Finally breaking in the Vibrolux tonight and getting a little excited with it 🤘 tone and technique heavily inspired and influenced by @philipsayce and @kennywayneshepherd thank you both for the unintentional lessons you give every time you pick up your guitars, and to all of the other heroes out there. I will forever be grateful for all that music has done and continues to do for me on a daily basis, and to those with the passion to pursue it and give a part of themselves to the world. I hope that one day I'll be able to do my heroes justice and do my part by giving back even a part of the love that music has provided for me #blues#phillipsayce#kennywayneshepherd#srv#johnmayer#jimihendrix#bbking@riffwars@lickwars@guitarsdaily@solosection
A little flashback @bleakleg sent me the other day, probably from a @creatureschoir tour back in July ‘17. Richard had been our man at the helm, and Blake had decided to meet up with us on the road to hit some stops with us along the way...and I think this shot was from a show in Santa Cruz.
We were staying with our buddy “Corndawg” for a night or two and had grabbed some LSD from some of the locals after the show that night. We smoked our whole supply of cigarettes, tore through a case of Tecaté, and spun the night away lamenting our dreams and chiding who was to draw what on Corndawg’s soon-to-be-vacated garage wall. I had on this old fringe coat that made me look like Dennis Hopper from Easy Rider, so laying under the stars and sleeping outside with the Harley was the only way we could bring ourselves to shut our eyes and get some much deserved rest.
Two weeks after we had gotten back home from this trip, I found the last Tecaté from this exact night...I had stashed it in a hole in the lining of another jacket, and forgotten all about it.
