This pork tenderloin came out great last night it’s a keeper and no measuring necessary! To make this...trim the pork, place on a baking sheet cover with a few TBS balsamic vinegar, make cuts in the pork and stick about 6 fresh garlic in the pork to cook, sea salt and pepper to taste and then chop fresh rosemary and thyme to taste. Bake at 500 degrees for 20 minutes then cover and let rest on counter for 10 before carving! #yum#pork#tenderloin#fitfood#fitfam#cookingathome#recipes#keepithealthy#cleaneating#fitfoodfreedom
Almond is one of the healthiest snacks you can have. Full of antioxidants, nutritions and vitamins. But, watch the amount you eat as it is high in calories as well.
Enjoy Almond! 😊
What do you do when you're making gluten-free apple pie and you forget to add coconut sugar to the crust? You start all over and remember to add the sugar this time 😂
Then you use the sugar-less pie crust to make a quiche 😁😁😁 So here it is. Gluten-free quiche made with @ripplefoods dairy-free half and half.
How many times do you have a vacay planned and you find yourself needing to “crash course” a diet or exercise plan to “get in shape” for vacation?
Sounds familiar right...because that’s the majority of us!
🔥Then when you get there, do you lose that progress and eat and drink whatever is in front of you? -
What if you could just maintain a healthy lifestyle where you don’t ever have to “get in shape FOR” a vacation and just be comfortable and happy with the body you are in? .
🔥Then when you get to vacation, sure indulge a little and treat yourself, just try and keep 70% of your meals healthy so you don’t fall so far back when you get home”
🔥” Vacation Mindset” coming soon.
This week is busy AF. Trying to balance work outs, shakes, healthy meals, along with painting, cleaning, shopping, reading, seeing friends, and getting prepared to leave for vacation this weekend is overwhelming to say the least. So far I’ve kept myself mostly on track and even though my to do list has grown longer haha, I’ve already crossed a ton of shit off! And I haven’t missed a workout or shake. I’ve stuck to my meal plan for the most part. And guess what? I plan to workout and stay on track even on vacation because it makes me feel good and keeps me energized. I am gonna need so much energy for walking around universal studios & Disney! While I do plan to have fun and indulge a bit, I don’t want to feel shitty while I’m walking around. So I’m going to focus on keeping it healthy! I’m also packing my blender cuz this girl is #spoilt and has to have her blended shakes! My life used to revolve around what next delicious thing I would stuff into my face, especially during vacations and holidays. Now I’m more focused on stuffing my brain with memories! 🧠🙏🏻💃
I am so excited to align with our new Physician at @saldarebodytherapy ,
Dr. Steve Zivich @boston_direct_health 🔹
Dr. Zivich and I will be working together using the In Body machine or a method called Bio-electrical Impedance Analysis to track my body composition for no other reason than I love continuously setting goals to keep me consistent and having an accountability buddy.
The device divides your weight into different components such as lean body mass and fat mass to assess health and nutrition. I’ve done it in the past on myself and with clients at Healthworks, but now there is a machine at Saldare that I will be adding as an additional tracking service.
In addition to the monthly test I will also be relying on other factors to measure progress because as you know, the scale doesn’t tell the whole story.
Many times I had to re-shift my own focus to move away from only relying on the number between my feet to show me how far I’ve come. I used to be so obsessed; weighing daily and letting the scale dictate how I would feel. If I saw a “good” number I was happy. If it was “bad” I was defeated. Fast forward 15 years…I have developed a positive relationship with the number and a reliance on other signs of progress. Perhaps a few of these will help you to move away from letting the scale dictate your mood and bring you closer to patting yourself on the back for all your hard efforts.
1. How your clothes fit
2. Improved sleep and energy levels
3. Improved digestion
4. How you feel – aka mind-shifts
5. How much strength and endurance you have gained
6. Change in your daily habits
7. Increased consistency in and out of the gym
8. A decrease in alcohol intake
9. Increased self-awareness when faced with a challenge – aka at parties, bbq’s, on vacation
10. Cooking 5-7 days/week
If you missed the workshop this past weekend stay tuned for exciting free webinars and a January event.
“I don’t have enough time.” Chalk it up to one of the lies I tell myself on a really regular basis. But I’m been working (thinking about working?) on mindset changes for a while (shout-out to @realfoodwholelife and the Feel Good Effect podcast), and today as I was coming in from my morning walk, checking the clock, showering, etc, I was really craving a warm breakfast. I could feel it in my bones, I’d never wanted anything as much as I wanted to cook myself a fresh breakfast. And that first, spilt second thought was, I don’t have enough time (that’s the whole reason I mealprep, make overnight oats, eat yogurt and granola, etc). But then I heard a louder voice (that sounded uncannily like @elisejoy): You have enough time. No doubt it was in Elise’s voice because I have heard her say it (in her podcast, in her Instastories). A lot. It’s a cornerstone part of her @gettoworkbook philosophy and how she gets things done. But I have never felt the connection to my life so keenly as I did in that moment. Because honestly, I had plenty of time. I’d still get to work early and probably have enough time to still walk a lap around the pond. But if I had listened to what I told first myself, and believed it, I wouldn’t have made the time to whip together this hot babe. Scrambled eggs (with @primalkitchenfoods ketchup - no sugar, no sweetener, no dates and it tastes like “real” ketchup! Get it!), toasted @rudisorganic English muffin, and a sliced @mightyvine tomato sprinkled with @traderjoes everything but the bagel seasoning. Fed my hunger and nourished my soul!

The dreamiest breakfast or snack bars ever 😋😋
They are crunchy from the outside and soft on the inside with overtones of cinnamon and maple syrup.
Our meal prep has been keeping us on point this busy week! We encourage everyone to take the extra hour on Sunday and midweek to assess what foods we have on hand, head to the grocery store if needed and prep those foods so we can finish out the week strong 💪🏾🥗🍤🥦 #planahead
