Be ready for a 'detox' trip from the digital world as cellular and data signal in this remote village is virtually non-existent. It's best to schedule a trip sometime in October (or August to November) to see the terraces at its greenest and most lush phase. Remember this simple tip when hiking: leave no trace.👣 Bring your own water bottle and trail mix to keep you going and energized! You can ask your local tour guide about other interesting side trips you can do after seeing the rice terraces. Perhaps you can trek to Tappiya Falls? Or try their local delicacy- 'pinikpikan' and native rice wine. End your trip with a little souvenir to remind you of your awesome adventure. KEEPING IT EASY
Quite simply roasted chicken, pulled off the bone, strong cheese tossed through so it melts, then some veg on the side! No complication, plenty of protein and fibre and healthy fats!
