So I've never been one for new years resolutions, diets, dry January etc. But this year I've decided to explore more about the world of health and fitness, so that I can offer my clients better knowledge, genuine experience and more motivation to keep achieving their goals.
Each month I'm trying a new nutrition related challenge and a new piece of equipment or style of workout 👍
This month and I'm meat free (I'm usually a meat fiend?! 🤦♀️) and have been focusing on mini band work- they're proving to be such a fab bit of small kit and everyone is lovely the exercises 👌
Todays lunch was crushed avocado 🥑 quinoa, spicy beans and loads of spinach! Was actually delicious and I'm full so definitely putting this down in my meal planning notes! ✅
Meal prepping on a Saturday?!? Why??? Well, it’s because we have an almost all day event tomorrow and I know I will not be motivated to cook afterwards... So, I decided to do something easy, tasty, healthy and less time consuming - Sheet pan meal preps are one of my go-tos. Easy to bake any meat and veggies of your choice without a lot of hassle.
Today I made:
*Spicy Italian sausage with butternut squash, bell peppers and Brussels sprouts.
*Honey mustard chicken with sweet+red potatoes, green beans, Brussels sprouts and carrots.
This way we get to eat two different meals per lunch.
Just a few things to start off the new year with a well-stacked frig and pantry! Costco haul and alternative bagels. Canadian bacon is 3 slices for 1 sp; Swiss cheese slices are 1 sp; Madras lentils are 2 SP for half a PKG; grapes are zero sps; laughing cow Swiss light 1 sp; and bagels are 1 sp. You must have the foods and tools you need in order to be successful! #wwjourney#workinfreestyle#lifetimelifestyle#wwrocks#pantry#tools#keepingitinteresting
