With every photo i saw of this natural pool, my wish to go there became bigger. 💞
After making some internet research it became clear, that there is no official trail to get there, but rather some shady descriptions from other people, who went there.
Only the first half of the path was tagged by official signs and after that we were advised only to go all the way to the waterfall with excellent hiking equipment and better not in winter, since there is a lot of snow and you cannot see any path at all. ❄🍂
But we still wanted to go there and soon realized that all those warnings were given for a reason: Almost two hours of walking in the forest into deep snow, over tipped trees, without any real orientation, we were breaking into the snow several times up until our hips, until we finally made it to this beautiful waterfall. 😍
Almost every place has its magic sometimes you just have to open your eyes 💕When we arrived at #königssee yesterday I was like: why are millions of people coming here every year as Schöngau is not pretty and super touristic?? But when we were on the boat and I learned so much about this place and they even played Bavarian live music I learned to see the beauty in this place! Sometimes it is just love at second side💕
💫 This is probably one of the most beautiful places I've seen with my own eyes 👀. Walking around King's Lake, I couldn't help but gush and exclaim "oh my God's" every 3 minutes.
I arrived bright and early and everything was covered in a thick fog 🌥️. I was feeling really disappointed, but even with the fog it was still quite a sight. After walking around for a while, some rays of light started peeking through the clouds and slowly started to reveal the lake and the mountains in all it's grandeur! 🏞️ It was one of the most astonishing experiences I've ever had. Boy, nature really knows how to put on a show. That's why we have to do all that we can to preserve this lovely Earth of ours, for more generations to enjoy the same privileges we have. 🙏
