I find it quite interesting how we often dissect the retrieve in the beginning but other parts we just expect the dog to grip as a whole. Like jumping a fence with a dummy or a bird in their mouth. We add weight and with that we make the dogs unbalanced, but we rarely train them either to jump, land, balance extra weight or jump with the extra weight. We just expect them to cope with the difficulties.
So with our young dog, and the others too, technique training is the basic way to begin the training towards jump a fence with a weight in the mouth! #jumpingdog#jumpingafence#retrieving#retriever#retrievers#retrieverpuppy
Some behind the scenes of my ‘Love at the Lake’ photo from the Summer Portion of my One Year Of Love Project!!
You can find the final image from this photoshoot a few posts back on my feed!❤️
So many people were interested in seeing how this photo was done, so I figured I had to post some behind the scenes! The people ask so they shall receive, haha!!
This photo was actually probably the easiest of the OYOL Summer season! It was super easy to get her in focus because I knew exactly where her head would be every time, and timing was pretty simple since I’m used to taking just one photo during an action shot instead of taking a big burst.
Feel free to ask any questions about my shooting process and I’ll try my best to answer!!
