Breakfast ❤️ There were times I thought I was better off to have a tiny breakfast or skip it completely. But then I started working towards a healthier me. I started working out at home and really looking at what and how I was eating. I discovered that I can have a healthy relationship with food and maintain all the work I have done. I don't follow a super strict meal plan, there are times where I eat donuts and nachos, but that's part of living. I don't over do and I definitely don't under do it anymore. I keep a good balance between it all.
Monkey wrenches really suck 🐵 .
So I had a lot planned for this week. An anniversary, trip to Chicago, professional business headshots, a new vlog. Basically a lot of stuff i’d really like to look good for especially on my face. My face had other plans. It started last week with a curling iron burn on my temple (I curl my hair like 3 times a year. This is why) and then I scratched that burn leaving a really gruesome sore. Then yesterday I must have touched an open chemical and then touched my face because for the past 24 hours my face has been swollen, bright red, hot to the touch, and feels tight and burns like a bad sunburn. Yay me! 😁 .
I’ve been kinda frustrated about this and many other monkey wrenches I’ve had in my life recently and I know I’m not alone. Even this platform has ran into a few (which I’m still working out. YouTube will be up soon! Thank you for waking!💕) But during times when things get frustrating I just need to sit down and quietly breathe. Nothing around me to distract my peace while I search for something positive to find joy to push towards. There is always something! Today it was was my ice skates. I get to use them tomorrow and I am so excited!! I can still skate with a cherry red face! 🍒

Let’s talk about Winter Wellness ❄️ Whose house has been hit by the cold or flu this season? 🥶
It's definitely colder (even in sunny So Cal!), we are inside more, exposed to more people, indulging in sweets & schedules are crazy. All of this combined, can make us more susceptible to falling below the wellness line. It doesn't have to happen though! We have tools to help us stay healthy and happy throughout this joyous new year. Here are some of our tried and true practices: ❄️Limit sugar as much as possible. Keep that immune system strong ❄️Hydrate. Add your favorite Vitality oils to your water to make it yummy. ❄️Move your body. Even just a quick walk or dancing to some music!
❄️Sleep. Deep restful sleep. We have oils for that too!
❄️Supplement. Essential oils & supplements can give us that extra boost we need. I'll share a few of my favorites for this time of year!
What are your secret weapons to fight off the sickies? 🙌🏽 Mine are Inner Defense, lemon, honey, and Thieves. ❄️

2010 Presidents’ Day. Our 2nd vacation together. Our 2nd month dating. Travel, staycations, and adventures are my love language. I knew he was my lobster instantly; especially after our first vacation together. A whirlwind, last minute trip to San Francisco for NYE (after a week of dating). It was one of the best trips ever! I was hooked and never looked back. We are forever life and travel partners. Can’t wait for the next adventure. What’s your love language? .
