GUYS:GOD IS SO GOOD! Every summer I try to do something to give back to people in my life. Last summer was hard for me to do that, because I was so incredibly defeated and honestly my heart just wasn’t in it. For the last year or so I would get coupons for baby stuff and always just threw them away out of my own bitterness. I never thought my house would be literally filled with training/overnight diapers. An awesome friend of mine @rawrrrrzor was able to send a surplus of these necessities to our home. She only asked that I make sure they’re put to good use. It’s amazing how a year ago my heart would’ve ached so badly to do this, but doing this has been a huge blessing to both @jthornton5819 and me. This is what’s left after donating to a few people that I know. Jayme dropped off the first round to our local WIC agency and they told him “We need these so bad! Any size will do!” We give all the credit to God. We asked Him for a chance to keep doing things in honor of our sweet babe and He keeps providing those opportunities. So thank you, to anyone and everyone that helps us keep our Jeremiah in memory by being love and light!

Why the Y? - "Getting acquainted with the Y changed my outlook on exercising and having fun. Juan and I not only exercise but also go to the Active Older Adult (AOA) potlucks when we can. I took a Y nutrition class when I first joined, and I learned so much. That class has changed how, when and what I eat." "I met Ann on a bus trip about nine years ago when she accidentally - or maybe on purpose? - spilled coffee on me. We talked, played cards and got to know each other. She had lost her husband as well; we’ve been dating ever since!" - Juan.

It’s always sad when pets outlive their owners, or when their owners decide to move on and don’t include the #pets who have spent their life loving the owner. Here at #CHS, we see it too often. It’s also not uncommon to have bonded pairs of pets enter our facility. And sadly, many times the surrendered #pet is a senior.
The heartbreak is evident in these beautiful surrendered souls. In this unfamiliar noisy new environment, once loved pets are now confused, afraid, and depressed and don’t have that familiar human to make it all better.
But there is hope! Caring compassionate #adopters like you step forward and give these deserving animals a new and #happy life.
Right now we have several #sensational seniors who need a caring compassionate adopter who will promise to #love them for the rest of their life. Please help us find a truly #furever home for our oldest residents. They are all young at #heart and have a lot more years of purrfect love to offer. These beautiful #seniors are really the most deserving of a place to call their own.
Please find room in your heart and home to help us help these deserving #creatures. .
