Part two in my series of artworks you simply must not miss on your next visit to Sicily has been published. Thanks to Italy Magazine for sharing my love of fine art.
Sicily is a must visit place for art lovers, it is filled with priceless works of art from many periods of history beginning with the ancient Greeks and ending with contemporary art. Everything from architecture, sculpture, paintings, marble work, wood carving, mosaics to gold jewellery.
I adore the particular details, the way the light hits a mosaic tile, a motif, a story told within a marble sculpture, those are the things you will recall.

Rhino orphans: The harsh reality of wildlife crime and rhino poaching. This small baby rhino’s mother was brutally killed by rhino poachers, but was lucky to be found by game rangers in time. He was immobilised and moved to a rhino orphanage where he will be raised with other rhino orphans, before being released back into the wild. The Forever Wild Rhino Protection Initiative supports organised protected areas in the ongoing rhino poaching war.
