I think I've posted near enough this exact photo before but whatever 🤷🏻♀️
I'm guessing this is one the most photographed spots in Galway city but I love the lil family of swans that lives here 💗
I still can't decide if Kilkenny or Galway is my favourite place I've been in Ireland, it's a close one!
Glint of sun, December. 8x10 oil on panel. I liked the way the sun was just breaking through the clouds enough to catch on the water behind the tree line. Water meadows are an intrinsic part of the Irish landscape, where a dry field transforms to a pond over the winter months. This is from a view I snapped out the car window while we were driving to visit friends over the Christmas period. Good to remember the sun is always shining behind the clouds.
Also just a reminder my work is for sale so just message me for the price if you see anything you like. ...
This is the view from the highest point in Co. Clare, Moylussa outside Killaloe. Who wants to see this view for themselves?? Next Sunday, January 27th we’ll set off at 12noon & afterwards head to The Pipers Inn up the road to recover with some great food in cosy surroundings! Have a read of what to expect, ⬆️⬆️⬆️ link in bio⬆️⬆️⬆️. I’ll be walking as fast as the slowest person in the group & it should take between 3-4hours. It’s not a stroll & most people will break a sweat but the views & shelter from the forestry in parts makes this a very rewarding accomplishment 🥰💙😍💛 Have a read, see if it’s for you & let me know if you’ll be joining us 🙌🏻
