Let's talk accessories! Have a couple of new bits that I bought from the @helenjamesdesign collection that's on sale in @dunnesstores This gorgeous basket being one of my favs 😍 She has another beautiful range out this season so I highly recommend a look ❤
I'm all about using so many different textures and tones this year with anything from rugs to throws, cushions to plants and even to lampshades too. I feel it really makes my house a home and I'm all over shades of orange, green and pops of yellow. Literally cannot get enough of them but, I can't bring much more into the house so it'll have to be on the QT now sssshhh.... Swore blind to himself (obvs with my fingers crossed) I'd ease up on the accessory purchases after I did a bit of damage in Maison Du Monde and Ikea in France not to mention the plants I made him fit in the car 🙈 You might have seen my stories and the big fiddle leaf fig that I bought for a tenner 😱 Yes my friends only 10 fricking euros so I made damn sure that was coming back with me on the boat!
A big happy Saturday to you all, I won't mention the rain will I ffs and hope to see you on the flip side Monday ✌
Sometimes the unexpected photo will turn out better.
I was trying to a cliche photo of the Giants Causeway and this woman walked up on top of the rocks and with her dress blowing in the wind added another layer to the photograph.
Red Lipstick nights last week! 💋 Going on holiday and not having one drop of alcohol once again proved how much easier life is without drinking! I'm pregnant and not touching a drop anyway but I can also count how many times I've drank in the past 3 years. It has totally changed my outlook to weekends, and how to live life in general. I've no hangovers, more energy and living life MUCH better with better decisions. I was a party animal. Lived for the weekends, drank for 10 years through grief and made stupid choices which led me down a rabbit hole of madness. Now I've done more things these past two years that I couldn't do before because of anxiety from hangovers or grogginess. It's been a decision that although very hard at the start, the MOST rewarding for my head and spirit. Irish culture isn't drinking, it's having the craic even through hard times and coming together to support each other. Alcohol ruins that.
